Beautiful car! My very first Mercedes I bought is almost identical to this one. Mine is very rusty and leaks a lot of oil unfortunately but it still runs good.
Gotta keep them all alive!

Awesome. My dad had the gas version. The one smaller than the 280e. Nice. Yup, real slow. U spoke about clay bar. Tried plumbers putty. Works great. Cheap.
I recently bought one as well! Mine is an automatic with a sunroof that overheats and has a fast idle and needs all new rubber and all the shocks went out after I got it.

Saw one for sale in Federal Way (Washington), dealer claimed 48,000 miles and was listing it for $12,500. My son and I drove up to check it out. It likely had 348,000 miles on it to go along with the rust and wasted seat upholstery.
Why would you ever buy or try to buy a car from the dealer?!…. Only private party!

My w115 is also a 4spd manual, whose brake warning light is permanently on.
It’s most likely related to the sensor on the master cylinder itself. I still have to diagnose mine
i have 2 of those but mine is w115 300d

You have to try yourself. Both are great cars to me

W115 is a great car and I’d consider it as a daily driver. Just make sure you sort it out and go through everything to make it great again
