Fine work - but the problem will likely be the overpressure of your dry area. I've done a few of these and to work well without causing watertight problems they need to take up a relatively small proportion of your dry area/wtc. No more than about 1/5, I would say. As others have suggested you may be better off with a low pressure air system that floods the tank for neutral bouyancy and uses a small pump to put air in the tank on the surface for 'surface trim'.
