I have one. 1997 TDS SE, its lovely to drive and it only has 72.000 miles on the clock. Its complete, original and is in mint condition, it even has the original bmw seat covers. Its only ever failed 1 MOT and it was for a bulb which is very annoying 😂 Im hoping it will be worth something one day if i keep the mileage low.

Just enjoy the car and stop caring about the mileage... Even if it will increase in value, a 525tds won't be worth lots of money in the foreseeable future. Having good times with the car is worth a million times more than the 2-3k of profit you may obtain someday

@@JAGUARDF7 sorry, thats my bad.. i thought 525tds has a 4 speed auto because of the shifter. I know E39 had 4 speed too and the shifter for it looks the same.
