Well done defo does a did a 5k swim at Loch Lomond the other week hoping to do the 10k and build up to other big swims in uk . No sure about th channel tho still a wetsuit swimmer 😂😂
Wow that coach is such inspiration. So easy to bark orders when being dry and comfortable on the boat. But to jump in and do the last couple of hours with you is amazing. Well done to you both
Unbelievable! I consider myself to be a bit of a distance swimmer but THIS is so far beyond what I would ever even dream of trying to tackle. I have the strongest admiration for you and your coach. Totally amazing to me. Fabulous Job, mate!!!

Incredible video and an incredible achievement, great to see some of the mental struggles when it got tough and the support from the team to help you pull through. Definitely feeling inspired to work towards some bigger swims (although not quite *this* big) next year!
@@danwallace93 so far the longest I've ever done in open water is around 3k. I've been wanting to work up to a 10k, doing something like one of the Lake District lakes end to end for that distance would be incredible 💫
Amazing - this deserves way more views! I did a 7 mile a few years ago and remember crying into my goggles, it was that hard, just starting into nothingness and feeling so alone - I can't even comprehend going this far and for this long! Well done!

@@danwallace93it’s amazing, been following your videos all year!
