That’s a real nice setup and view of the seed flow. I have the land pride slit seeder (same thing but pto driven cutters on the 1.5” spacing. We absolutely hands down love everything about it. Did it for the random seed box and we are able to seed and fert at the same time. One thing I noticed when we were demoing our unit and yours was we love the slicing or driven slicers. It lays everything down flat and smooth. If you think the Harley rake gets it smooth..something about the slicer action just makes it like velvet. It also obliterates any clumps or sod balls.
Great video! We just bought a small pasture and have been looking for something we can overseed our pasture with - there is a lot of erosion when we roto till - there is a some slop coming in from our neighbors and we are trying to keep roots in the ground year round. Bermuda is what we are aiming for in the summer, cover crops in the fall/winter. We havent been able to get animals yet as the we havent had much success with growing here. The north Texas soil is 91% clay so it is usually either really hard or really sticky. What do you think about running a aps1560 on a Kubota L4701 as opposed to the greenscape 600? We got some pricing on the greenscape 600 but haven't got pricing on the aps yet. Thanks and again great video. We have been trying to find a video that went over how well it did afterwards.
I ended up getting a landpride nts2607. That was all I could find anywhere around here. We planted some seed and got some rain - hoping for some more very soon as we see some seedlings in the pasture. The nts2607 is heavy but seems to do the job so far. Can't wait to use it early in the season rather than late to see how well it works out mainly with bermuda.@@skidco
Nice video! Thank you for your effort for the viewer, and your hard work as well
Thank you

You can also get the small seed box on the APS also. It would meter out better.
