If Lauriam did indeed have a keyblade, what if Marluxia uses a Scythe because that was his signature keyblade transformation as a somebody

Given everything Marluxia's said previous entries, barring any mistranslations: "The Keyblade's power -- how I've longed to make it my own" - Chain of Memories
"I am amazed. That Keyblade... The things that could be done with that sort of power..." ~ Days, not brought up 1.5 thus possibly retconned.
It seems like if that was the case, it's someone carved into his heart ... Or, was passed on when he lost his heart at least. Marluxia seems to not recall having a Keyblade, and Days made it seem like Roxas is the reason he's sought it. So saying he doesn't remember that time ... He must be an especially interesting case when compared to Ventus.
CPS231 or perhaps he tried/wanted to get a keyblade in the past but wasn't able to. So now his nobody wanted it's power
We could though in future either in KH3 or X see how Marluxia forced himself to become a Nobody and how he really really tried to wield the Keyblade
Well, if Luramia IS the one who slew Strelitzia, then given the sound effect it's hard to argue around the person who attacked Strelitzia had a Keyblade. So unless Marluxia or some other version of Luramia wielding a Keyblade isn't the true culprit, we have a potential plot hole, but only if the 'dub' mistranslated what he said in both instances, which is entirely possible(And/or the Days part is now retconned ...)

Funny thing: If you look at a picture of Strelitztia, she has hairband that spells out "XI". Guess which organization XIII number is "XI".
That would be really interesting if that was the case. That also makes me think of her as Marluxia's death angel from his final form now. That would be a really cool concept of having her reappear as his spiritual weapon.

With this reveal, does anyone think its possible that Marluxia knew about Xehanort's plan to make all of the Organization's members into the 13 Vessels of Darkness, and *THAT* was why he was so intent on staging a Coup d'état on Xemnas???

I dunno about that, but I think it'd be a great explanation for why Marluxia wanted to overthrow Xemnas and even why he wanted to control Sora so badly; he knew that Xemnas was evil, and he himself was once a Keyblade wielder that lost the power when he became a Nobody. He'd still be an anti-hero more than anything, though.

Probably not, as Xemnas stated, "Through weakness of body, weakness of will, or weakness of trust, most of the original members we had chosen for the Organization were inadequate."
Marluxia was undoubtedly one of the people that Xemnas was referring to through "weakness of trust" - he was certainly strong and willful enough to not be counted under weakness of body or will, and considering he tried to overthrow the Organization, he likely won't be an option to Xehanort.

Two Theories:
1- What if Marluxia was the one who ended up messing everything up, and killed the dandelion leaders but Ven was able to escape and somehow lost his memory (before falling into the hand of Xehanort) Marluxia might have actually been at Castle Oblivion to find and kill Ventus
2- Remember the theory that Ansem SoD's guardian is actually Terra? What if Strelitzia's Nobody became a pawn of Marluxia, and that pawn is the giant lady we see as Marluxia's final form in Chain of Memories? Since her heart was released by a keyblade, it would make sense that she became a heartless and nobody (Really hoping she's not gone for good 😢)
I wonder how nostalgic it would have been for Lauriam to see Ventus again as Roxas?
Meanwhile I'm still waiting for Larxene's somebody and getting to know her.

4 years later, I gotta hand it to you, HMK, without this video, I wouldn't have even bothered to watch the scenes of Union Cross to begin with.
Sad to say, I was only introduced to Strelitzia, because of her death, but I still get the feeling she will be back.
But I always had the feeling that there was more to Marluxia than Chain of Memories made it out to be. And that's why I was actually quite impressed with Lauriam's reveal, and even more so when we learn more and more about him.
I could be wrong, but our culprit being Lauriam feels like it'd be too obvious an answer with everything we know about him and who he becomes later on down the line. So, I'm kinda leaning towards red herring until further reveals.

I'm sad over Strelitzia. I don't mean this from our omnipotent view as an audiance when it comes to us seeong the plot, but from the actual storyline itself. Strelitzia's death is really sad, because she was cut down, in cold blood, murdered, while she was just a kid. She died with regrets, she died never getting to be a part of someone's life. And unlike Xion, or Terra, who can be saved because people even somewhat remember them, Strelitzia likely won't likely have justice over this because she never met the others. No one knows who she is, only us. That's why its so sad. She died quietly and alone with only her Chirithy and no one knows.
I dunno, this adds so much more to the lore of KH to me. I always wanted the world to be bigger and for more characters to appear, but thought it'd be awesome if some of then did have an effect on the story but didn't even get to meet the main cast, just like how things work out on real life. I think Strelitzia dying so tragically like this and no body knowing it makes this seem way more interesting. There's only been on actual 100% murder before this, with Eraqus. (I know characters "die" like the Organization nobodies...but really they don't ACTUALLY die, you know? Because they all assumably came back in some form.) Xion and Riku Replica died, but they were artificial in a way. It was still sad for them but...
I dunno, Strelitzia was just literally straight up murder...Geez, KH.
Lauriam, I've been waiting for this guy for a while. I'm not gonna lie, as a kid I thought he'd be some gardener in a town with a power complex, but this is WAY better! There's stakes here with this character now and its so interesting. At first, I thought adding this many new characters and it not going anywhere was dumb, but now that they have connections to future characters, and there's an actual mystery now, I'm kind of 100% on board again (You know, instead of the 98% I was last update lol).

There is a high chance that this time is a lot farther than the original war and a little bit before birth by sleep. Also I like hearing Marluxia is in now. Giving a little more backstory on him. We know he's returning in KH3. Just remember we don't have the exact time of these things. Also Xehanort? Where is he at? Sometime soon he should show up maybe.
I mean, I guess it could make sense for why he went to Castle Oblivion, if the Land of Departure is where the Dandelions went. He'd be the best person to know the secrets of the place.

Deactive Account Sleeping? If you mean at the end when Luariam walked in then you realize that the scene with Strelitzia happened a few days ago. Prior to the 5 Leaders meeting. This gives a window of time between them. Not to mention doesn't it seem too convenient to have Marluxia/Luariam come out after that scene. Your first thought would obviously be to jump the gun and say he's the culprit.

Now we know why Riku's theme played in lobby area in KHUX last two weeks. It's a sad theme and foreshadowed her death.

Man this makes me so happy! Not the confusing KHuX story, but that we see more marluxia. I've been saying he will make some sort of appearance in KH3 for a while now and it looks like they're setting that up here!

If they have something to do with the post-keyblade war-time too, then Lea and Isa are definetely the most random ones. I didnt get their job in radiant garden even until now haha

I hate that they might have killed off Strelitzia, mere weeks after she was introduced =( will we hear anything about her in KH3?
The sad thing about her death is no one will know outside the person who killed her. No one is gonna go questioning or searching for her.
I don't see anyway we can hear about her again unless she somehow finds refuge inside another body like Eraqus.

Eraqus didn't die though. His heart travelled to Terra's body. Losing your heart isn't the same as death, as explained in KH2's Ansem's Reports. Losing your soul on the other hand, is the result of death.
I am just going to wait and see where they are going with all this before I give my opinion.

If I remember right, Marluxia was unkillable and needed to be sealed at the end of CoM. He was also left out of the Organization XIII power chart. There's probably something special about him.

Exploring the former identities of the remaining Organization XIII
was always something that was going to have to be done,
but I honestly didn't expect to get to know any more of them until after KH3;
I assumed they'd be used for future plotlines.
That we now have seen Marluxia, I'd be surprised if the last few weren't revealed
within the nearest future as well (though not necessarily in Union X).

Blaine reminds me of Zexion. The book he has looks like the book of prophecies as well. If it wasn't for his name and accent, I would have thought they were the same people.

Union X [Cross] takes place right after the Keyblade War and after the events of the game X [Chi].
Spoiler for Chi and Union Cross:
In Chi, you would play as your own character in events before the Keyblade War and the game ends with you surviving (barely) the War and two friends named Ephemer and Skuld take you to a place known as the Unchained Realm.
Union Cross takes place after the Keyblade War. In the Unchained Realm, your character is reliving the events of Chi within their dreams while other characters, including Ephemer and Skuld, are meeting in the Keyblade Graveyard.
Huge missed opportunity to make it Lumaria, which is a type of plant and goes with Marluxia's whole flower petal thing.
lauriam also seems to be a corruption of laurel.
I do wonder if the organizations weapons were keyblades or more so keyblade transformations or incomplete keyblades, something of that nature

5:10 That is not death in this series, and Eraqus didn't die either. In BBS Xehanort notices that Eraqus is inside Terra meaning that's he's still alive.
When people's hearts (like Strelitzia's) float in the sky that is just them losing their heart, so she'll probably become a heartless.
The only person that actually died in KH was Riku Replica, and in that moment his heart didn't manifest at all. All that was shown was him fading.
Exactly. Excluding certain Disney characters, only Riku Replica died. There's even this quote from Secret Ansem Report 4:
"Three elements combine to create life: a heart, a soul, and a body. But what of the soul and body left behind when the heart is lost? When the soul leaves the body, its vessel, life gives way to death, but what about when the heart leaves? *A being does not perish when its heart leaves its body.* The heart alone disappears into the darkness."
That explains all the members of organizations Xlll personal life but they need to know we're did Larxsen came from
OK I thought this was supposed to take place thousands of years ago I demand answers and I want them now!
I Have A theory; What if Lauriam actually loved Strelitzia and not killed her?...And because she died he joined the Dandelion leaders to possibly find out who killed her don't y'all think?...And the reason why he wants the keyblade and betrayed Org.XIII was actually his plot to revive Strelitzia the love of his life who died by the hands of some unknown assailant and bring her heart back.

im actually really glad Marluxia is back in the story, he was only in COM and i really enjoyed him as a villain an that was it for his character dint know anything about his character an origin like we do all the other Organization 13 members, also i hope Larxene,Luxword, and Demyx originals selves return too, because we dont know there history before they were Nobodies either.
I translate for Everglow--in the original Japanese, Lauriam said that he was late because he was "looking for something." Since it was later in the timeline, I don't think that had to do with the book or Strelitzia, but maybe Ava? Just a thought.

where does the story come from exactly in this game? I am at the highest mission in story mode at the moment and no keyblade war or anything, all i did was beating ava and unicornis or what his name is, no real story so far ...

What if Blaine was the one who killed her. He is pretty shady and he was the first one to take out the book as if he was trying to prove he belonged there. Oh and the one who killed her was never seen, so learning about Luriam right after makes him seem like he was the one who killed her
It is a good theory but I do not think her Chirithy ordered someone to murder her since a chirithy fades if their player fades as well. And it could be him that is the one that did it but it could also be set up to make everyone believe that he did it. Blaine is also suspicious since we cannot see his eyes.
This kinda cool because marluxia was always shady so to know that he was always a savage like that is kinda cool

Vividspirit No, I mean Xion. Different people see Xion in different ways. For example While Roxas sees Xion as a black haired girl, Xigbar sees her as Ventus. Replay 358/2 days. in some cutscenes, she shifts between hooded and non-hooded forms. That's because originally most people saw her hooded even when she had it off.

Looks like it's safe to say Lauriam/Marluxia will be a seeker as represented from the chess board. He most likely did have his own Keyblade in KHUX since that's the era of the Keyblade War, but now what's more important is what is causing them to forget this era (Ven/Lauriam)? Also, HMK imma have to disagree with you on Eraqus being completely dead, yes he was struck down but he faded right into Terra (Xehanort mentioned Eraqus residing in Terra) and his Keyblade remains which Aqua has. Could Terra be harboring Eraqus' heart just like Sora and Ven?
Clayton got killed, all the people in the keyblade war which caused the deaths of every weilder who fought in it(minus the player) including the other people in Daybreak town. They died too.

Yeah, there is literally no possible, conceivable, coherent, logical way that all this is going to be wrapped up in KH3! This story is literally in shambles at this point!!!

Completely agree [Katsu Imagitian]. KH Union X is undoubtedly paving the introduction for the series after KH3 as Nomura said there will be more. KH3 is only wrapping up Xehanort's mess, after him, our heroes of light will be in need of a new major villain and I think we were just introduced to a capable candidate. >:D

The question is if Lauriam killed her or someone else. I think it's extremely likely it was Laurium, but Nomura & team still wanted that part left ambiguous. I really am curious how this all will turn out, how the characters all relate to one another. I still want to know what the Foretellers look like & the Master of Masters, how do the new & old union leaders mesh & wether there is some trick as to who is under those forms. Like I wonder if the Foretellers could have been brought from the future or something else like rebirth is true
