The locals used to be hardcore at the lake worth pier in the 80s and early 90s. Especially the South side. Not sure how it is there now because I moved to SoCal in 97 and haven’t surfed there since. Great wave when it’s on.🤙

Definitely probably more chill now than back then. When it’s good the crowd can still be heavy. The north side pier is more the spot these days
