@@jmoore4156 Totally agree. Just keep up with the maintenance and oil changes and it should be pretty reliable for years to come.

I think the outside looks pretty good actually. I’m not liking a lot of these interior designs these days though. Circular dials for shifting gears is so awful. I like the new Tahoe and Denali better than this.
❤️ the new dash panels , rims, sliding console, door panels, headlights, hidden wiper Dislike the black gloss trunk, the interior is just ok. The cherry leather would look nice with some color combonations. I do like wood grain and lighting.
Joe, would you know what it means when I start my ‘21 STI, and I let off my clutch, and the car “bites” and moves forward just a couple inches. It primarily does it when it’s been sitting overnight. Is my clutch going out or? 33,000 miles, still under warranty.

@@youtubepremium1694 not gonna lie I’m saving up to get this or a truck. I’m not buying it now. Definitely have priorities. But slowly but surely I’m working towards a truck/suv like this. I prefer the tremor trim for sure
Hard plastics on the sides of the third row… I think that most of the time you'll have the third row seats folded down and the space used for cargo, which is why they made it like that.
Anyone who knows anything about engine technology will tell you that in these years, 2024/2025, GM need new engines. They have played all the games they can with their present mainstream V8 gas engine configurations, and the consumers have come out on the losing end in terms of power and efficiency.
Love that color. Yes zonk on the bottom of the grille not having LED fog lamps on a Platinum trim. Love those wheels for sure. Very tasteful. Massage seats is a nice touch. No ventilated seats in the rear is a zonk. The interior is nice. Love the color and the leather seats. GM does a great job with the screens in the headrests cause that's a good selling point and it keeps the little ones entertained. Not feeling the rear of the new Expedition though.
It’s really cool looking. The wheels are nice. A Tahoe sized SUV is what I want without a 3rd row. Is the gloss black on tailgate a plastic piece or is it painted metal? Smallish door speaker cavity means limited aftermarket speaker size. The dash on the caddy sclade seems more user friendly. The rotary shifter knob is on the dash. Ugh. Why tip the dash controls upward? Can you see them while you’re driving in bright sunlight? Everything else seems nice. I’ll never use or pay for blue cruise. Split gate is a great idea. The weird dash really ruined it for me. Otherwise good improvements.
Frkn awesome wheel and tire package. To me the shoes on a vehicle/suv are one of the most if not the most important things as far as looks go, I'm my opinion.
You can get the Expedition with L. E. D. fog lights so it’ s not that but I do agree if you are paying the price for a platinum they should be standard
Traded 2021 ford expedition max platinum for a gmc Yukon ultimate. Without a doubt the interior finish and style of GM products are better but it stops there. Time has proven that Ford v6 is more reliable than GM motors. Look at all the engine failures with GM
I agree with the zonk gloss black on the back, it looks so classy until the back in black. *Ya see what I did there? 😉 I'd like to get some more wood on my dash maybe a nice thick 12 inch strip right down the center of that dash with a real PLATNUM inlay same font as the outside of course. I'm gonna zonk the steering wheel. The steering wheel and the back are like some big black robot with no wood in trying to take over my classy ride! Go ahead and give me some analog gauges, steel bumpers, and some Edison bulbs!
I've driven both and the GMC feels more substantial and smoother with the air ride and the magnetic ride control. Plus it has a v8 or diesel option. Not to mention I despise the black on the tailgate of the Ford. Finally, I just think the Denali has a better interior. Just my opinion though.
I've driven both. The Suburban feels more substantial and the instrument panel is better laid out for customization but the Expedition does a better job at hiding its size and girth, making it feel easier to manuver and park. Its a tie.
That’s a lot better interior than a 2025 suburban but I see all the coyotes talking about a V8 didn’t they already prove with the Ford trucks the past several years that you don’t need a VA you can go pretty much just as fast with the eco-boost
Raiti always talks in much more details when reviewing Ford. Why? Because it's the top smart and capable Auto Brand. Yes GM looks amazing I'm so glad the entire GM line up has elevated. But....Ford is just so smart. So sporty. So capable. And yes Ford drives thousands of miles easy. Don't let people lie to you. America is full of Ford and GM on our roads.
These are for large families with a lot of money. I make great money but would never pay these prices. Wait a few years and get a lightly used one for way cheaper.
Ford needs to be more creative and bring back the Excursion, legit lasting models and returning models of the past, ex. The Excursion could be the F-350 frame as a two door 2 or 4 seater that is off road and luxurious, the thunderbird could return as a roadster that gives another option to the mustang, GT Supercar could return especially as a grand tourer competition to Aston Martin, Ferrari and Mclaren while the Bronco needs more variants while Jeep Dodge is dropping the ball with the bs EV protocol.
I really think Ford did a great job with the redo of the Expedition
I have to agree with you!
“ Ribbed for your pleasure” 😆
That's what I thought. 😂😂😂
The new Expedition looks great, but Ford just needs to bring back the Excursion

According to google- “12% of households make over $200k per year”. So, those people.

Buy the lower trim then....this thing's LOADED....
I make $130 k and my car is way cheaper than this
@@georgiiarakelov6560 Smart!
If it had the V8 it would be but without it I can’t say it’s better than a Suburban.
It does have more horsepower than the Suburban
Exactly. Longterm I don’t trust the motor to run as long as a V-8 will.
Might have more horsepower & everything but towing wise a V6 would be overkill to the V8 if turbocharged
GM's current V8 offerings aren't all that reliable either. I'd actually trust Ford's turbocharged engines more so than GM's newest small blocks.

So much for the Lions winning.
Ford did a great job avoiding the zonk with no rear wiper, then screwed it up by dumping gloss black all over the tailgate. Nice going there 🙁
The gloss black on the tailgate is one of the most redundant things about the new Expedition.
