I've had ADHD all my life, just got diagnosed with depression. This is now one of my favorite songs, thank you for spreading awareness about something that isn't talked about and isn't taken seriously.
I don't know what is this but i think it was ADHD because this is what i feel. 1. Lost on the road, not knowing where you are. 2. Losing your true identity. 3. Feeling worthless but sometimes you are proud of yourself because survive perfectly at most danger situation. 4. You climbing so many stairs but you stopped mid way because it's tiring and not fun anymore. So, you jumped down and goes to the new or the old one. 5. Hoping someone come and save or understand you then hold you until the end of the stairs. 6. Having love and hate relationship with imagination and something not real. 7. You either lack-focus or hyper-focus at something. 8. Creativity is blessed and curse for you if it getting out of control.
Hey I relate to you a lot❤️ Had the same feelings for over three years now, and still struggling, but definitely seeing the improvements. I've invested in learning about psychological tricks and identity tests (mbti test actually helped me to find a community of similar minds) and building stable relationships, that helped a lot! Also I recommend listening to a beautifil singer dodie who has had depersonalization and derealization amd got through a lot. Her songs are just so comforting but emotional at the same time Wishing you the best💛

@@mikel3520 Hey! I struggle with this so much too. I always feel like I'm just trying to be perfect for everyone and that changes depending on the person I'm with. I recently just found out that people with ADHD do this a lot! Mirroring is really common with ADHD, it's when we copy the behaviors of other people, sometimes including their voice/accent, to try and fit in with them! Masking means we are trying to cover up our ADHD and trying to be more like neurotypical people by doing things they do! Sometimes I mask different parts of myself depending on who I'm with, because like many ADHDer's I'm really sensitive to people rejecting me for who I am! Facts. That line literally describes my entire life. I've finally began to openly embrace my own interests and ways of expressing them. Definitely makes ya feel better
This song hits close to home for me, I've been diagnosed with adhd for a while now maybe around 6 years. And this song just hits home because even with all the tools I've been given it's hard to focus. And I when I don't take my medication I feel horrible because I feel like I bother everyone around me. I feel like a shell of a human who's programming is broken. I love this song though because it's like a vent I didn't know I needed and I love it. As a female with adhd, It sums up how I've been feeling for some weeks now. Thank you, I'm sorry for my rambling.
I believe when someone has a (so called) disability that they are special people sent by God to teach us humility and love and patience and all the things that he wants us to know... I BELIEVE you are blessed and gifted and that we all can learn from each other. I'm glad that we share this earth together ( all of us) because we can use our differences to become more grateful and tolerant if we just would except our gift's. ... ❤️

Particularly the part about accepting gifts can very easily make people feel disregarded and disabilities that have torn people apart and put them through extreme suffering being called a gift they need to accept can be upsetting to them for obvious reasons. Its a nice thought and its better than being ableist but you'll likely still get lashback.

Thank You for this song, I was diagnosed with ADHD, high functioning Aspergers, as a young kid at some point & then Anxiety, with Depression when I was in junior high school, ADHD before i was diagnosed or even knew what was going on sounded to me like angry teachers kids bullying me as well as a teacher that took me into the hall and said keep it up and i wont make it to the next grade. I was not aware of my surroundings in the way that i effected them i knew not what i had done anything seemingly plan worthy done by me was on a whim out of the blue and realized upon recognition by other people not my own self usually but that is me we are all different we are unique and guess who see’s us the same from a high up view God who sent his son Jesus to take away all the judgement of our sins away so we could be free from what we do not know the full extent of what we have done. This is who i am A child of God, i am worthy i am saved i am his masterpiece i am loved i am the child of my heavenly father who wether you choose to have a relationship with him or not will still love you and want you. And for those who ive stepped on toes dont shoot the messenger please i only wish to guide those who need only Jesus to him not the pastor of a church not to be a friend but to say only Jesus is perfect I am not perfect in all ways only Jesus. :) search out that hes real before you search out that hes not there are two sides I Love my heavenly father for giving me a purpose a future greater then i had when i turned away from him trust God not always trusting people God is also the great physician just know you are loved if not by family then you still have Jesus. “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. ADHD and if you're not stupid to boot, puts a crown of misery on top of it all. You know exactly what you have to do, but because your working memory doesn't really cooperate, you can almost never put it into practice. That's the most frustrating thing about it.
This song is like a new breath for me. I live in Kazakhstan in a small city where there's no good adhd psychologist. I found out about my adhd like a two years ago... Everyday i feel like never will ever understand how hard is life with that disorder. My mind is never stopping, either this overthinking or hyper-focus or something else. Every f×cking day I'm fighting with my own brain. Im tired of it, i can't even socialize with people normally, my family and best friend are drained because of my anger issues. I'm so so sorry for them, im not what they expexted... im so dumb. i know i shouldn't say that, but i just can't help. I hate how my life going. I want to change it, really. So many of us feel no one loves us because we all show are love in what we believe it is or should be, and if there love language is driffrent than ours. It's confusing sometimes if we don't get it....but if someone takes time to tell you "I LOVE YOU" do your best to learn to believe them, few people say that to some one they don't care about . Not sure if I have ADHD, but when I’m older I want to get tested. For a while now I’ve wondered if I had ADHD and talking to my friend about it she said I seem like I do too. (Tho atm I was tired and acting like a kid) but seriously, this is relatable whether I have ADHD or not lol

@@crispyliza7050 same here. Apparently people that get treated soon and don't live in an ableist enviroment can enjoy life with adhd. I however cannot relate, wish I could, but I can't.
@@grassblock7668 i wish i could relate too. i was diagnosed when i was 6 but only started taking meds when i was 19 or something so before that adhd was just something that made my life worse
