For our 14 year anniversary, we want to try another cruise line and our eyes have been on VV or Celebrity because we have heard great things about both cruise lines, and this video just put the icing on the cake to help us decide. Thank you so much for sharing your perspectives. My husband and I are looking to take our first ever cruise this year and we are leaning towards Virgin. We like the guarantee of no kids. Also my husband doesn't drink and I'm not a heavy drinker so top level cocktails isn't important. I'll also be honest in that we most likely won't be tracking what we drink, so not worried about going over the tab. "It is what it is!" Your video does make me want to take a look at Celebrity for the future. My only concern would be those odd balconies. Anyway, thanks again for sharing you experiences with both lines!

We were very impressed by Celebrity, but I definitely understand your feelings about the balcony, we opted for an interior room just because we didn’t want to deal with it. Hope you have an amazing cruise on whichever line you choose!
The Beyond Mega Buffet was amazing and staff were exceptional. We tried specialty restaurants but can literally do without it. The buffet was absolutely delicious. Loved the indoor Veranda room it was perfect! Our room attendant made us feel like we were the only one on the ship. He would sprint to open our door for us. The entertainment was high-end & spectacular but maybe will try Virgin to compare. Thank you for the excellent review.
Definitely agree no buffet can compare to beyond, it was absolutely amazing! The nice thing about Virgin is the included specialty dining every night (and the pizza). Ether way you can’t go wrong they are both great ships!
Thanks for putting this comparison together! I didn't realize it until the end but I think we might have been on the same Celebrity sailing that you all were on(bad weather in bimini). This was our 2nd cruise ever(both on celebrity) and we have said we would like to give Virgin a shot. Based on your review they seem pretty neck and neck so I think we are going to give Virgin a try. We absolutely loved the food on Beyond so hearing that Virgin was even better makes it that much more enticing! Thanks again!
