Perhaps I am headed in a different direction with either one of these guys, especially HOOK, but what to me would be would be a great match-up because they are both fan favorites and seem almost invincible because of their talent and skills - each with a style all his own, and that would be a one-on-one between HOOK and Nick Wayne, but definitely keep this JP/HOOK rivalry going and most definitely some in-the-ring interaction and creative moves not as stereotyped as some of those in this match. Love the rivalry between the two. What an entirely different character type and role between Jungle Boy, a fan favorite and the now character Jack Perry, despised by many.

What by him losing a match? A loss especially in the case of Hook doesn't ruin him. In fact, you can see greater and better things from Hook because he will improve and learn a lot from a loss. It will be great character development. I hope we can see Hook evolve and improve from the loss and be a great star. Fact is the Hook undefeated streak has gone on long enough, got stale and hadn't done anything for him.

SOMEONE WOULD HAVE TO WIN and jb does deserve title, he cheated twice, as a heel it’s expected for one to win by cheating outta nowhere, he low blows hook then uses his title to knock him out, BUT only thing is hook shouldn’t lose to him again and aew should book hook matches with others and tag matches with jb before doing 1v1 and hook wins title again
