An original, intense, unpredictable, high-quality and beautiful fight, you can immediately see that the mats are professionals in their field. It was everything we love about wrestling for. The drama persisted and, like in a movie, we get an unexpected result. The fighters are clearly not done with the confrontation yet.
Original? Ref bumps are absolutely stupid and aren’t apart of “sports based entertainment”…..it adds nothing to the match.

I can definitely say these guys are great athletes, it’s impressive. But the heavyweight champion looks like a guy whom you wouldn’t even notice walking down the street in a crowd, and the Challenger couldn’t beat up the average dude at a local shopping mall. It’s kind of ridiculous

They should have been calling time every 5 or 10 minutes. They should do that with every time limit match, whether it's ending in a draw or not. It's just an easy way to add drama to a match. The wrestlers didn't do anything wrong here. The ref, as usual in AEW, doesn't seem to know the rules or doesn't care about the rules, so every match comes off like a no holds barred match with no count out. But most Zoomer fans watch wrestling like it's in a cartoon universe with Cirque Du Soleil thrown in. MJF is one of the few wrestlers who is a throwback to when wrestling was actually popular. The rest of these guys might be decent human beings, but their psychology is incredibly suspect at best. Cole has had some horrible setbacks, but if he wants to be a wrestler in 2023, he needs to work on the hair and the physique. Shawn Michaels in 1998 looked more like a wrestler. Even cruiserweights are short but look like they do something athletic.
