Most of the other singers I've heard singing this aria seem to make me feel uncomfortable, like their production seems week or unbalanced in some way. But I was surprised to find that he doesn't make me feel this way. The only other singers on here that make me feel comfortable with this aria are Franco Corelli, Pavarotti, and Alfredo Kraus. I'm sorry to say that I think he holds this aria better than Domingo, Gigli, and many others, at least from what I've heard on here.

When I listened an aria I heard ''Manon lescaut ''pi'' chiamo''?! I would said that aria goes ''Manon Lescaut mi chiamo". But evrything else is very nice!
perdonen que discrepe, estoy de acuerdo que Marcelo Alvarez es un buen tenor, pero de eso a decir que sus interpretaciones son perfectas es mucho decir! además podríamos hablar también de aspectos técnicos en cuanto al estilo en lo que linea de canto y timbara se refiere.
