This is why he hasn't progressed at all in the ring in 2 years. 30 some matches in 2 years. This guy has made his career being obnoxious, while avoiding putting in any ring work. Was pretty much the same in MLW. He's a midcarder they are pushing, while ignoring the fact that Wardlow is a better wrestler and Spears is a far better heel. Spears you just want to jump the rail and dive on. MJF, you just tell whoever answers the phone, to tell him you are not home, because he's not a heel. He's just an annoyance
@@mikelachey824 MJF is good at being a dork and that's basically his character and I agree he hasn't progressed much in his matches but guy surely has something in him. But yes at some point he has to increase his work rate also put on great matches regularly like his other peers if he want to hold AEW title because he wrestles like a part timer unlike other guys who put on work every week.
I hope he gets better in ring and can carry his own matches as well as the title. But here we can also see flaw in Dante who also has to work long matches and has to have ring awareness it's not like running wild after getting a hot tag and throwing himself on everyone here he had only 1 person to work with.
Wow, i can't believe these negative comments about Dante. kid is just 20 and he already showed in all his matches so far that he is one of the best young talents in AEW. why so much hate? only because of few miss shots in 1 match he is not talented anymore? you people make me sick.
I don't get it man, Dante's got so many moves and he's finisher is freaking moonsault? Come on
Yeahh im not the only one who think about this, his finisher is really weak compared to his other moves, he needs a better finisher that more devastating
100%. His finisher is pure show and not impact. I don't like it either
Good catch and save MJF on that shooting star press.
Tony putting over MJF by just genuinely hating on him just makes me love seeing him back on commentary
Punk, sting and Darby vs FTR and MJF can't wait
Should’ve been the Briscoes😭
Expect them on friday I would guess
Ref should have got a raise after this match!!! He wore me out with all the counting!!!!
FTR is Everywhere... with MJF & also with Andrade & Malakai Black
0:56 Who taught him how to punch, Ric Flair?
Who else espected Bray or the Briscoes when the lights went out?
Dante so spectacular.
I feel a bit bad that I was disappointed about it being Darby and Sting when the lights went out. Just with all the free agents out there I was expecting to see Bray or something.
Sting. Cm Punk. And Darby Allin. In the same match. God I love this company
Man the refs had definitely hurt after this one. I don’t think I’ve seen so many pin fall attempts
Dante punching the turnbuckles LOL
Thought it would be Dante, with a run-in from CM Punk. Then again, MJF has to always win this for his gimmick to work I guess.
Let's go Punk and Sting and Darbie.. ..
This Diamond Ring is really starting to just mean nothing other than an accessory to MJF’s scarf
Reff: "How many counts do you want guys?"
Dante & MJF: "Yes"
Dante Martin had a heck of a match, but MJF just can't live without "his precious."
Really, I don't see Dante doing anything with an obvious heel prop if he won. I mean, is he gonna punch people with the ring, wait for them to get up, and then hit a moonsault? The ring is MJF's thing, no question about it.
Yeah, they booked a pointless ring that serves no point or purpose, over the heavyweight champion. That's half ass booking at its finest. Another 800,000 to 1 million viewership week in the books, because they haven't moved a needle, or even made it budge.
ROFL! That reference should be used for MJF more often!
Aew pop
remind me 90s wrestling, always good pop, every match matter.
