my first iceberg video is edited for shit 😵💫I didn't know how to get past copyright yet 🤷♂
thanks so much for watching! check out my tyler album ranking here: ua-cam.com/video/Hz0-yyZzbgk/v-deo.html

So how does one get past copyright?
This is such a great way to get hyped for the new Tyler album
bro the new album is sooooo good
whats the song at 4:52?
@@circus1293 Idk, I don’t think that’s Tyler
@@circus1293 song is used in Tyler’s 2016 fashion show
I second that
This is so depressing that i know all of this.

more about his name, tyler originally created "tyler, the creator" because it was a page dedicated to the art he created. Tyler had always loved/doing art which is another reason he left his vans partnership because vans was holding back his creativity. tyler partnered with converse who allowed him to have almost free reign over his designs.
Cool fact
Did you expect us to read that entire comment💀💀

I have been waiting for someone to do a video on a Tyler iceberg, ur super underrated, great video
thank you!!
smh
7:42 the line is connected to Goblin, in which he says in Yonkers that "It's been a couple month sand Tina still ain't perm her fucking weave", which I guess is supposed to indicate that goblin takes place after Bastard
YEAAA I THOUGHT OF THAT TOO
It goes Bastard, Wolf then Goblin chronologically
I think that it goes Bastard, Wolf, Goblin because at the end of Wolf, Tyler/Wolf mentions killing Sam (who is also Tyler), and at the beginning of Goblin, Dr. TC says “You wouldn’t do that Tyler, kill yourself or anyone.” Also Bastard has a very awkward transition into Goblin because Dr. TC says “It’s been a while since our last session.”
The fact that on everyone of his albums on track 10 is a 2-3 part song blows my mind
happened again with sweet / thought you wanted to dance

@@aggressivedog3742 CAP THAT SHIT IS FIRE

12:46 Good video but you have a couple of some missing things
The goat in the commercial is Felicia the goat which happens to be one of Tyler's online username. I stand to be corrected but in one of his interviews he mentioned that if he ever had a pet it would be a goat named Felicia. So I think it's one of the reasons he got a goat for the mountain dew commercial. The other thing connected to the whole mountain dew scandal is the tamale video, apparently the blurred scene in the video is meant to a diss on Boyce Watkins.
The Blurred Tamale Video Scene:
Set in a classroom, Tyler and his friend pop in wearing black face and red lips referencing sambo. Felicia the Goat makes a small cameo by running across the screen before showing Boyce Watkins in the background sitting behind the desk. The shot cuts back to Tyler who drags a watermelon in the centre and smashes and continues to dance. I believe Tyler was deliberately mocking Boyce Watkins criticism.
thanks for adding! definitely some notable things i forgot!
also the lyric "might fuck around and be a goat named felicia" is worth mentioning. I don't remember what song it's in but it's somewhere in Goblin and I remember hearing it and skipping back because it caught me so off-guard.
@@shampow3863 it's Trashwang, i think.
and it's actually from Wolf btw
whats the song at 4:52?
@@shampow3863 Trashwang on wolf
Don't really think "hints to his sexuality" should be bottom of the iceberg, especially since he covers the topic in Garden Shed Flower Boy, a super popular album. Also was hoping to see something on the alternate name "Scum Fuck Flower Boy"
I actually like the alternate name more. It seems kind of contradictory and it’s fun
An iceberg about Tyler is probably the last thing I expected to see, but damn, as a fan of the guy, what a pleasant surprise this video was! Good work, it was a really cool video!
Should of added Tyler being in Regular Show
@Xavier!! the rap one
HAHA FR!!!! he battlerapped pops and rigby and mordecai!!!
UK banning T for his song French is honestly iconic
In my opinion, Sarah is the goriest song tyler has ever made. It just gives me chills.
Rotten Sarah is even weirder and i get sick when i hear it
@@VVELVETTEE oh god i gotta listen now😭
@@VVELVETTEE Sarah stays rotting in my base,,,

How did you not cover the whole lost album titled Wolf. Not the 2013 album but the scraped 2010 mixstape
Can I find this?

With the Pusha T feature
And kinda lost
isn't it the one with like 20 songs on the tracklist apparently? It was like apparently the darkest album yet
POV: you’ve been literally only been listening to Tyler for 3 or 4 years and know all of these
imagine listening to only a single artist
i think he meant only 3 or 4 years
@@Gelo_Tin imagine making fun of someone for doing their own shit and liking music.
i know all of these things and i started to like him since like august of this year
@@theofficialpookiebear holy Cheetos
WANG$AP definitely is a thing. My friend who produced for Curren$y told me he got to listen to some of it (this was like 2017). They never finished it though but it was at least half way done at that point
Pretty cool video, kind of a half assed iceberg though lol.
Shout-out to Jayden and 2nd Ward, those dudes are awesome, there's a whole bunch of these peeps on youtube remaking Tyler stuff, they're all super talented.
Ye it really is kinda half assed. Plus the hints at his sexuality are pretty much common knowledge imo.
ikr, they didnt even slap the alternate bastard 2008 CD on the bottom. easy pick to put at the very bottom
I honestly hadn't heard of iceberg before this
the trilogy has been confirmed by tyler. he talked abt it at this QnA type thing he did for cherry bomb and said maybe in the future all the albums will connect
source?
you should talk about the ace the creator albums
if u were to make an updated version, i’d love for u to expand on topics like awkward featuring frank ocean and kanye west, unreleased song called chacha, and the mile high club x tyler the creator snippet
also the flowerboy instagram rightt
If it weren't for Tyler where would Odd Future be?
prob would've never existed 🤷🏾
I mean Frank And Earl could’ve made the group popular ,if OF existed with out Tyler
@@sirpapiyahyeah7605 damn
i really wish this video was longer there was so much more it could cover like zombie circus, sarah and rotten sarah, his regular show debut, and tons of more stuff
7:41 on his second album goblin theres the lyric “its been a couple months and tina still aint perm her fucking weave” on yonkers but other than that throwback idk how deeper it goes
I'm so exited to see the future of this channel love your videos!
idk why but everytime somebody tells me their favorite tyler album is flower boy, i get annoyed. it’s like i know i shouldn’t because it’s a great album, but it just makes me feel like they’re just following the hype
Valid opinion but you gotta think deeper, thats not always the case. Its one if his best albums in many aspects and its my favorite out of all of Tylers projects with Wolf being a close second. Ive listened to all of his music from, Ace, to OF, to standalone songs, and of course his ablums. So in my case im not following hype and i think id be offended if someone accused me of doing so.
@@Snowfoxxo understandable! my favorite would have to be wolf
It's funny how it seems that a lot of fans who got into Tyler's stuff from Cherry Bomb onwards tend to struggle with getting into everything before Wolf when I have literally the exact opposite experience. I find that the harsh, gritty and transgressive nature of Goblin and Bastard were much easier for me to get into when I first came across Tyler's stuff coming from a metal/hardcore musical background than any of Tyler's most recent releases. I still appreciate all of it though and I can see how Flower Boy is a far more mature and well developed album than Goblin for instance.
I mean goblin and wolf aren’t that good technically, I like them personally and I think they both have really good qualities but as a whole they’re not that great
7:45 tina perm ur weeve is there because on yonkers tyler says “it’s been a couple years and tina still ain’t permed her fucking weeve”
Lmao I knew there was more to that
You know I'm assuming you have done the mirror type filter on his music videos to avoid copyright or sumthin but some of them just work too well
I had to like it once you mentioned 2 songs on every 10th song of each album. I never counted it like that. I love the first song on fish and VCR
i was waiting for this omg
The background music on the first layer is called Girl45
It's mainly an unreleased piece of Tyler's
Here a link for it: ua-cam.com/video/b_TRu4QEoVg/v-deo.html
Bg music on the fifth layer is called Sorry. The version he used is instrumental
Sorry is also another unreleased piece. I'm pretty sure it was created in the early 2000s
Here da link too for the instrumental: ua-cam.com/video/IlyhHV118_A/v-deo.html
ily man
"Tina perm your fucking weave" is an inside joke tyler peppered through a couple songs that began in bastard and then later, in Goblin (I don't remember what song), there's a lyric that says "Tina still ain't perm her fuckin' weave" to end the joke.
it was yonkers
Maybe the interlude on IGOR where he was talking about "Wasted potential" was about Earl
I like this idea that it was maybe about Earl but how could it be? (No hate)
@@harold2273 Because in the video he said that tyler had some arguments etc and some beef with earl but they seemed alright later, but maybe it still stings him.
how ? earl makes great music and they fw each other
no way its ear, earl just put out a new album and his past music is fire
earl is fire
Really high-quality video for a channel with 900 subs. Good luck with future stuff.
Dude i love this video!! im just recently getting into/discovering more about tyler and his music and this video was very entertaining. Defo learned some things
wow really well put together
Researchers are the best type of youtubers really appreciate your work man !
Great video! I wasn't expecting to know as much as I did lol!
It's no longer "EARFQUAKE" it's "ICEBERF"
just subbed im 1 minute through already love it
The Tina thing is because the line comes back in Yonkers.
What are the instrumentals used throughout the videos also great iceberg video I’m also kinda obsessed with icebergs but was kinda get to learn some new things about Tyler the creator
There’s also a ‘I smell panties’ ep by jasper and Tyler. That would go on the bottom tier
maan, jayden and 2nd ward came in clutch in the flower boy era, 2nd ward made alot of good Igor alt intro's too
Thing I noticed in the wolf documentary, it shows a preview of blow my load from cherry bomb. It sounds faster paced but other that it’s basically the same thing you hear on the actual album
“See you again has the best live version”
Cough cough new magic wand
Cherry bomb is one of the greatest albums to ME .. Because he tried a lot of new things !!
14:48 I've heard this song before and I feel like it was on the Cherry bomb doc, but I know I've also seen it uploaded by either Jayden Richards or 2nd ward. If anyone has the link I would greatly appreciate it! Also great vid.

i found it 😁
what is it?
Seventh Layer:
Tyler the Creator is Tommy Wright III’s son
Biggup for playing the Girl 45 Instrumental in the background, it was actually the track that introduced me to Odd Future back in roughly 2011-12
what's the song of the instrumental used during the first layer i love it
Your channels gonna blow fam
thank you sm
What’s the music in the 5th layer background
I just found it. it’s called sorry and it’s on the eargasm ep by ace (Tyler’s early rap name)
1:05 same bro sometimes i feel like i say his name too much😭
the "knowing every analog, bimmer, and wheels song" is likely in reference to tyler's tweet claiming bimmer is just analog 3 and/or wheels 3, and also that the end of analog 2 is wheels 2.
What’s the song used in the transition for the “Knowing all the oldie verses” part?
this video needs more views. it's so good
thank you sm
3:53 "a plethora of other mentionable names" *doesnt mention their names*
Dude you only have 800 subs??? Crazy you’re so underrated
thank you sm
what is the background song that starts on layer 4 please someone let me know that beat is great
Whats weird about bloxhead is the video of him dancing to the song hoe cakes used to have comments on a few years ago but are now disabled.
if UA-cam didn’t do that, idk why but if he still has access to it that creeps me a little
So much stuff I need to listen to now
Has Jayden Richard's channel been taken down? I saw his videos just yesterday and now they are completely wiped from the site.
Y’all what is the song In the first layer that’s playing in the background
I think the music video of Buffalo should've been included on this iceberg. While it isn't lost, it was pretty controversial, leading to its privatization from the OFWGKTA channel. It has been reuploaded since.
@@gearsofwar44 oh, I didn’t know about that fact. Thanks
2 things for the bottom of the iceberg. One, there is a video of Tyler the Creators whole 9 inches on the internet. Two, The blatant use of all hate symbols and use of the N-word (hard R) starting before bastard and ending sometime around goblin. Also kinda sad to see that the eargasm EP is unmentioned along with him and jasper on the track "lilo and stitch". As I write more and more I remember more so I'll add that it is a damn shame you didn't include the BranDun Deshay beef. The Use of Cortex instrumentals in his early career! Also, I may add that his first song released in his recorded history is ODD OCTOBREE on August 26th, 2008.
13:30 casually putting in the time Odd Future met MF DOOM as background footage
Glad I found you g
This is really underrated, great job!
Where is flower boy in the description though, it was intentional or something?
what song was that entering the fifth layer, it sounds very familiar but I cant put my finger on it
hey, ik that the song in the first level is one of his early songs around 2006-2009, do you mind telling me the name, as I really find it interesting. thanks!
edit: if you don't mind could u also put the other song names :v
7:38 It's a joke line from Tina that got expanded a bit more into Goblin.
glad that this its on my youtube recomendation
10:29 tyler made lots of alternate version to those songs I'm assuming that's what the iceberg is talking about
Ah that Girl45 in the beginning goes hard. Actually all these underground demo/unreleased beats do
6:28 And SWEET / I THOUGHT YOU WANTED TO DANCE for CMIYGL.
7:39 Yonkers he also says “it’s been a couple months and Tina still ain’t perm her fucking weave, damn” that’s prob what it meant along w the line from bastard
ik this mad late can u tell me the song u used the beat for during the first layer part??
i think it’s girl45 ua-cam.com/video/b_TRu4QEoVg/v-deo.html
I hate to criticize- but you slaughtered the pronunciation of Okra and the entire south is upset about it. This is still one of my favorite iceberg vids
Amazing video!
thanks so much!
Ive loved tyler since i was in high school in 2011. I already knew most of this and while cringe its cool basically growing up with an artist and watching them change and mature as you did
PLEASE WHAT SONG DOES THE BEAT AT THE START OF THE FOURTH LAYER GO TO?!?!
whats da beat in the 44 second mark of the video?
What's the song in the first layer
11:43 it's also on napster (which used to be rhapsody, not the piracy napster)
what is the name for the first song in the background
7:42 maybe the person was talking about how he said it in Yonkers or sum, idk
What’s the song in the background called at 0:54
whats song playing in the fifth layer? totally forgot it
The “Tina perm your weave” entry is a reference to Tina from bastard and “Tina still aint perm her fucking weave” from a goblin song
someone should def make an earl sweatshirt iceberg video
How is it that NO ONE mention that Granny music video ft. Mac Demarco
An amazing piece of instrumental.
Yooo you forgot to mention when he was on a regular show episode!!!
When it comes to celebrity beef, sometimes they say things are fine, cuz they don’t want to hear outside voices trying to instigate shit.
what is the name of the beat in the first layer
I was getting dizzy from the mirrored videos 😭💀
This deserves a part 2 with the newest album out now;;or maybe wait for the next one we all know is coming sometime next year ;))
Pretty good but the iceberg never brought up the magazine. The golf app. The DJ stank daddy summer mixes. The vans collab or The golf wang book.
What is this effect called when the video is like a mirror effect? Pls, I want to know this effect so bad.
i used final cut pro for this video, and it’s just called mirror!
the fact that i know all of these is insane
