If Ultor had successfully wiped out the Saints in "Saints Row 2," it would have brought about a significant shift in the game's storyline and dynamics. Let's explore some potential implications: 1. Loss of the Saints' criminal empire: The eradication of the Saints would mean the end of their criminal empire, resulting in a power vacuum within Stilwater. Other rival gangs or factions may seize the opportunity to fill this void and establish dominance over the city. 2. Disruption of alliances and relationships: The destruction of the Saints would sever alliances they had formed with other characters or groups throughout the game. This could lead to strained relationships, shifting loyalties, and potential conflicts between former allies who must now navigate a changed landscape. 3. Resistance against Ultor: While the Saints may have been wiped out, it doesn't necessarily mean that all hope is lost. Surviving members or new characters could rise up to form a resistance against Ultor's control, seeking justice for their fallen comrades and fighting to reclaim their city. 4. New protagonists emerge: With the Saints gone, players might assume control of new protagonists who are part of this resistance movement or individuals seeking revenge against Ultor. This would introduce fresh perspectives and allow players to experience the game from a different point of view. 5. Exploration of corporate corruption: The success of Ultor in wiping out the Saints would shine a spotlight on the corrupt practices and influence of powerful corporations within the game's universe. This could lead to a deeper exploration of themes related to corporate greed, exploitation, and the fight against oppressive systems. 6. Redemption and rebuilding: If some members of the Saints survive or new characters emerge, they may embark on a journey of redemption and rebuilding. They could seek to regroup, gather resources, and form new alliances in order to take down Ultor and reclaim their former status as a formidable criminal organization.

Maya Peoples Only because his colleagues/higher ups made him do it. I don't think he tried to interfere with the saints when he was in charge. Though he didn't have a long time to be in charge. Dane cared about wealth more than people. The saints, owning most of the town and arguably the most wealthy part of Stilwater, the part the Ronin and Vice Kings owned, could provide Dane with a good income while having a corrupt supper power on the side of the Saints. They could free any Saints row members in prison for example. And they'd pretty much in a way have control of the police and the entire stilwater. Also Dane didn't betray the Ronin. The leader of the ronin (The older guy) didn't agree with his son's decision to work together with Dane because the Ronin in his eyes should be powerful without any outside help. Also the only reason Ultor didn't work together with the saints before the Ronin was because the leader dissappeared, Troy became chief of police, Dex joined ultor, Gat was pretty much doomed by the legal system, and the main character was in a coma. Edit: Don't get me wrong, he's a selfish dick, but not undealable with. Killing him wasn't a bad move. But keeping him alive might've helped the saints as well.
herpaderp1470 The Boss does have some empathy. He displays loyalty toward friends, and even performed a mercy killing on Carlos. It's just that he's a power hungry gang boss who can't afford to show any weakness. He's also not irrational, as he displays an eye for tactics throughout the game. Maybe if Vogel had actually offered him a deal he would have said yes, but that never happened.
If the retcon ending of Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell is anything to go by, the Saints went back to being a street gang so Ultor has nothing to do with them. If anything, the Saints probably often paid Ultor to stay off their backs and attack any other opposing gangs instead, but beyond that, no movie deals, no Saints branded clothing, or energy drinks. Ultor goes their own way and they get to Mars only to eventually be bumped off by the Red Faction and the EDF. God knows how bad the events of Red Faction 1 hurt Ultor's reputation on Earth. There was the ending of the Ultor Exposed DLC in Saints Row 2, but the retcon ending in Gat Out ofHell ultimately undoes that. With this in mind, we probably have a time paradox. However, despite all of that, Volition said that Red Faction and Saints Row are not connected. I still prefer to think they are connected though.
I just played the entire saints row series and I find tons of people arguing about old saints row vs the new saints row, can we agree that they are both fun?
HERES! BENDY! Both are fun but its more about personal preference, first 2 have enough fun but really serious moments to make it truly memorable. But saints row 3-4 is just goofy screw around antics. Still fun though!
its just baby boomers whining about how new games are bad and old ones should be glorified, great and detailed graphics and new game mechanics don't mean anything to them, if they don't get the same old shitty ''MUH GANG WARR'' they go mad and spam the comment section, even tho SR2 is my favorite game 3 and 4 are also great.
I liked Dane I wish he lived it wouldve made more sense for Ultor to be on your side in the next games rather than they just follow because you killed the boss considering its a company not a gang
Orton 57 still it seems weird for a business conglomerate to follow a gangster for killing their boss. I personally feel it’d be better if they followed Dane while he’s completely loyal to you.
Orton 57 I still think it’d be more in keeping with the story considering Dane doesn’t have a personal vendetta against you. Beating him doesn’t really mean anything.
I know the devs said that the Ultor in Red Faction is a nod to SR a Easter egg but that's a pretty big fucking Easter egg to me plus I like to imagine that it's the same Ultor and they eventually got to Mars and the fuck Vogel got a mountain named after him

7:44 he leaps through the spinning blades of the helicopter..
Putis Spencer only by inches, not through.
Handsome jack of the saints row umiverse
One thing's still hurts my head, HOW THE HELL DID ULTOR GET TO MARS IN RED FACTION 1 ?!?!?!
I wish they can remake this game with the graphics
That was savage how Boss used that bartender as a shield.
8:35 I will always play this game for this moment.
Boss was having none of it
Ok whatever floats your boat
I like how the bar lady is staring like hitting on him and he uses her a a shield I gusse u can say
_ytasdemon butler22 kinda fucked up
I swear Dane Vogel is probably my favourite villain in the series, 😍
Imagine hitting on a guy at the bar, then next thing you know, he's using you as a meat sheild
That part had me dying of laughter. It was also fucked up.😂
"I mean, I gotta fly a helicopter across the city but fuck it, I'll get high" 9:54
8:37 - Saints don't have fans...
They did in the Third when they became celebrities, lol Dane was their day one.😅
Until the third game...
He predicted for saints row 4 and agents of mayhem
There's something ironic about a private police force running by a stripper cop
I thought he was the main hero until this lol
Saints Row 2: Remastered would be amazing
Yeah it would that game was my childhood hood
8:35 Best screenshot
Dane Vogel has been gentrifying since we woke out of the coma.
2:10 boom baby!
They need to remake saints row 2 with the upgrades of 3 and 4
Saints Row IV was more like a lame superhero game.
I liked the Saints Row 2 graphics the way they were...
"You sure..GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME" lol gotta love gat
Even saints row has that dreaded Wilhelm Scream...
@@mehmetcaneren4042 3 is good but I think everyone agrees 4 was unnecessary
Masterpiece
I liked Dane I wish he lived it wouldve made more sense for Ultor to be on your side in the next games rather than they just follow because you killed the boss considering its a company not a gang
No in the DLCs the Boss made a deal with a Ultor exec. I'm not caught up with the details anymore but it's worth checking out.
Orton 57 still it seems weird for a business conglomerate to follow a gangster for killing their boss. I personally feel it’d be better if they followed Dane while he’s completely loyal to you.
@@idrinkcofe Yeah but then again its Saints Row some of its story just outright doesn't make sense.
Orton 57 I still think it’d be more in keeping with the story considering Dane doesn’t have a personal vendetta against you. Beating him doesn’t really mean anything.
1:49 I think I just came (because of the sound effects)
They definitely need to remake this game!
1 through 2 brought the classic gang experience but 3 and 4 just went wacko
"This is our city, we do whatever the fu*k we wanna do."
Kinda like what is happening in San Francisco, Chicago, New York, except it isn't ULTOR, it's Blackrock and Vanguard.
I know the devs said that the Ultor in Red Faction is a nod to SR a Easter egg but that's a pretty big fucking Easter egg to me plus I like to imagine that it's the same Ultor and they eventually got to Mars and the fuck Vogel got a mountain named after him
So we gonna ignore that Vogal fell hundreds of feet to the ground below after being shot in the face lol
Idk why but they should have made Trevor Phillips extra more violent like him you know him acting like a baby didn't look that tough
2:55 apparently there's at least one guy who shaundi hasn't fucked and he works at ultor. Good thing the boss came in and killed everyone there. Finally the poor bastard was put out of his misery.
glad i kever even touched Saints row 3 and 4, and this is the last memories i have from that franchise, our character was fking solid
I remember the first time i saw that nightclub raid scene there was badass music playing
Ultor kinda remind me of LinusTechTips
Dane Vogle's version of Order 66.
Johnny Gat: GET THE F$CK OFF OF ME
Saints row 2 is the best in the trilogy change my mind
Shut your mouth
6:58 that fucking Wilhelm scream gets me every time 😂😂😂😂
