We all had a feeling deep down that bakugo would live would've been cool to see hori kill another main character but eh its whatever can't wait to see if afo has his old quirks or the quirks he has currently
My main problem with Bakugo’s “death” and revival is that nothing was gained from it. Killing him off and then bringing him back two chapters later was pointless.
Instead of Edgeshot sacrificing himself, I think it would’ve been better if, in a desperate attempt to save Bakugo, BJ’s quirk evolved to be able to control muscle fibers, (like something similar to bloodbending) which he then could’ve used to counter Shiggy’s tumor growth bullshit. That way at least something would’ve been gained from Bakugo’s “death.
I feel like it was evident he wasn’t going to die since last arc he got kebab’d. This one was just dumb.
It definitely seemed kinda pointless but his quirk did seem to evolve right before he got body bagged so maybe now he'll have more time to be used to it trying to find some silver lining

We don’t even know what horikoshi is planning, but the way Bakugou died and is supposedly coming back is very…… useless, like please tell me what the point was killing off your character to bring him back like 2 chapters after, for what, Shock value? Pls put some deaths that actually affect the story, Bakugou getting revived is kinda fine with me but the way he died and is coming back is just annoying, Like please it’s the final damn arc, make some smart choices, this chapter, everything was good except for bakugou’s situation, honestly just a waste of my time waiting for so long just to see that Bakugou simply comes back, this makes shigaraki look weak, pathetic and useless, the only real fight that has happened in Ua barrier sky platform is shigaraki vs Ua Building, the damn building has had a more satisfying fight that Bakugou getting killed,
Asides form that, if horikoshi doesn’t write in koichi then that’s an absolute waste of characters, I’m done.
I'm fine with it, Deku literally *ALTERED HIS OWN FATE* when he actually lived after fighting Overhaul.. so yeah there's no reason to freak out over this lol.
Which was possibly a byproduct of Sir NightEye looking at the Future of one of the vestiges and in their timeline is where Deku got taken out by Overhaul.

It’s really a shame that horikoshi is rushing this series to an end. he said that what ever ending he came up with is better than the heroes rising movie and I want to believe that but like you say it’s very predictable and boring. I can’t tell if horikoshi is tired of the series or it’s the pressure of the toxic fans.

The bakugo situation feels like what happened with bleach. In bleach a character called byakuya was supposed to die but their was so much backlash from byakuya fans that the author had no choice but to make it were he didn't die. This feels like a similar situation with bakugo his fans just wouldn't let him die.
Plus both Byakuya and Bakugou are VERY popular characters in their respective shows, but they do have one particular difference, which is: the former is one of most popular characters in his show on a consistent basis (I think, idk precisely how much), while the latter is deadass THE MOST POPULAR CHARACTER in his show, and on a consistent basis

I have mixed opinons, on the one hand i would prefer if he stays dead since it would gives the final war stakes.
Or the other hand, if bakugo does live (which i wouldnt mind either) there probally will repercussion, i saw a tweet by @thekittyheart which said that he would live but unable to use his quirk which tbh i would be 100% okay since it would allow bakugo to be in young deku shoes and gives his story arc a bitter sweet ending.
this could mean where going to see the american pro heroes like cc and skycrawler in mha proper which would be cool.
I honestly disagree with people making mickey mouse jokes and saying it an "asspull" which honestly i would disagree with since in ch 88 of the manga we saw edgeshot make kurogiri unconsious by fiddling with his insides so it not impossible that he could alter his body fibers to patch the heart back together.
People need to stop bashing hori for this decision, i think it best if we wait to see where horikoshi will go with this

Yeah, sure, but Edgeshot going from being able to poke people in the right way to literally converting his entire body into a heart that'll somehow work even after he's dead is too big of a jump imo. Otherwise though, if Bakugou comes out of this quirkless to end his narrative that'd be the best case scenario.
Also if Edgeshot could have do that then why he didn't do that at Shiggy which could have prevented Bakugo's death?
I also realized that maybe horikoshi did this to add some type of injury to bakugo similar to all might to add some sort of parallel between them just like all might being limited and weakened due to his injury the same could go for bakugo this is just adding on to what you said at the 2nd paragraph

@@rizaadon I will say, a lot of this is AsarathaHD and Oceaniz (I believe those are their names), who are two UA-camrs who I tend not to agree with. Like, I get what they’re saying, but it feels less like criticism and more like they had an idea for where they think the story should have gone and it’s doing something else. (Similar to what I said earlier). There are a few points that I agree with, but those points, at least for me, aren’t as big as some people make them out to be. Like, I agree that there’s a pacing issue, but I also feel like that it’s nowhere near as bad as some people say that it is. I could go into way more detail, but for now, I’ll just say that I feel like Oceaniz doesn’t really criticize as much as think of ideas that they believe to be better. And AsarathaHD, while more critical, tends to focus on things that I don’t feel are as bad as they say they are. Just for the record, I don’t think they’re bad or anything, I just happen to disagree with a lot of their points.

I feel like there are still a lot of ways this can go. That, or he’ll just come back to life no consequences at all, which is its own can of worms entirely, one that I probably won’t like but I digress. All in all, I’m weirdly along for the ride to see where this goes.

Part of what I love about the series is that there are long lasting consequences. Bakugo surviving his heart exploding completely takes the suspense and stakes out of fights moving forward if in the back of my head I'm just waiting for the deus ex machina to save them
His heart never exploded. Shiggy clearly punched it. Why tf people get this part wrong? Even if you look at his chest. The injury bends inwards.

What if the objects flying toward deku "that didnt trigger danger sense", are Koichi and capt. Celebrity heading toward the battle with AFO? would be maybe a cool way to introduce him. And with endeavor on his last leg im wondering what other hero will be able to stop him from killing a ton of heroes besides someone like koichi.

Team Should've Let Bakugo Die wins this round in terms of potentially saving the plot. Don't care about those cry babies who don't want him to and gatekeeping him from his tomb with ridiculous arguments, he SHOULD'VE. This is a problem with overly popular characters not dying due to petty fans' backlash against the author when it's the writers' story anyway. 😒
As weird as this was, I don't think this is all that bad considering what other shounens do for their fake-out deaths. Heck, dbz and black clover just had their fake-out deaths just recently so who knows what the outcome of this battle will be.
Hmm,this might be a bad time to think that since Bakugo might get revived with Edgeshot becoming his heart, that Bakugo might inherit Foldabody from Edgeshot. Meaning Bakugo might have two quirks now.

I like vigilantes better at this point. It has a more focused cast, and was not as boring and predictable. I felt the same exact way when bakugo got "killed". Idk what happened but ever since the villain arc I just don't really care about the story at much as when it started, which I can't say the same for vigilantes. I think the people intercepting deku are heroes from other countries, and not villains
Here are my thoughts on the Bakugo situation:
People are criticizing the fact he’s coming back BEFORE it’s even happened. It’s like when people were upset about Hagakure being “revealed” as the traitor, when the VERY next chapter made those same people do a complete 180. Not saying he won’t come back (I think that if he has to die, which he still could by the end, this was not a proper sendoff for the character), but anything could happen between now and then. Maybe the method their using will fail due to outside influence (Shigaraki), and the way he is brought back might be more costly than this, like Jeanist dying for instance. And like you said, most Shounen serie have done this before, and sometimes even more than once. So WHY does MHA have to be criticized more for doing the exact same thing? Also, I think it’s handling the “fake death” thing so much better than most series. Usually a character is brought back suddenly with little to no explanation, or we’re given the explanation AFTER they’re revived. Here, they’ve outright told us that they intend to bring him back and how they intend to do it, so it’s much less of a deus ex machina.
And again, I think he deserves a much better death than this. The perfect end for him Ivan imagine is that he dies at the end in Deku’s arms and we get our sad goodbye seen for them and anyone else that matters. And if All Might ends up dying like Nighteye predicted, Deku will sign Bakugo’s card in his place.
I think people wouldn’t have a problem with Bakugo coming back if he had more then a chapter to whoop ass with Cluster Bomber. I myself have a problem with how he made Shigaraki panic, lose the composure he’s held throughout the entire fight, and get instantly shut down with a single hit. Bakugo was analyzing, anticipating and overwhelming Shigaraki, and the guy gets one clean hit and Bakugo’s dead? Flatlined 10 panels after he goes in on Shigaraki? Bullshit man, bull shit.

I really wish you didn't compare bakugo's resurrection to western comics like if horokoshi really wanted to bring him back american style he could've pulled a new 52 when I don't know when the whole quirk doomsday comes to life and somehow retcons the whole series to bring back bakugo. Hell it wouldn't be the first time a mangaka did something like this just look at go nagai's devilman series from toei's devilman, devilman lady, devilman grimoir, devilman crybaby and violence jack he really could've been more creative about it.

I used to consider MHA the best series around.
In the last year, its quality has taken a nose dive, and now I just read it out of obligation.
I'd like to propose you collab with the channels Oceaniz and/or IanWaffles.
They've both been covering MHA content pretty thoroughly overly the last few years, and I think a team up with you could only be a good thing.
Just to leave my two cents here, I’ve said this before, but I’m not too big on Oceaniz’s critiques of the series. I agree with a few of them, but for me at least, it feels less like criticism and more like they just have a preferred way that the series could’ve gone.
As for me, minus a few issues with the pacing, I’m still really enjoying what’s happening
