While Mineva's not responsible for the Zabi family or Haman Karn's decisions, she has still decided to take up the mantle for what Neo-Zeon is now. If all she can do is muster up some practiced-sounding talking points in apologia for crimes against humanity, I wouldn't have much hope for the future she's heading towards. Which presumably is her arc here, because the Mineva by the time of Unicorn is much more about what positive change she can bring about using the Zabi name than in defending the past.
