Thanks Jeri. You should have a go. I did try a few years back with just one and it grew fine. However when it came to planting it out, it disappeared, so I think a deer may have eaten it?
If they grow this time, I shall have to give them more protection. :)

Thank you, so lovely and relaxing as always. Do you have the acorn weevil in the UK, and how will that impact the acorn germination I wonder? I collect acorns to feed my backyard squirrels (in the USA) and so many of them have damage from acorn weevils! I love your resolution to plant 100 tress, and oaks are a keystone species.

Thank you✨I ‘m not sure about the acorn weevil? I did notice that one acorn had a small hole in, so I didn’t plant that one. Time will tell I suppose. Once, or if, they begin growing I will film them and share on here. That’s a sweet thing to do for the squirrels 😊
