Very nice! I could tell the difference, but then again, I worked in a recording studio for a while and have done radio production. I have a nice set of Cerwin-Vega bookshelf speares and a Harmon-Kardon receiver...it ain't Planar Magnetics speakers and McIntosh amps, but it delivers good sound for the money. Bose always sounds good...until you compare it to something else. As well, as the years have gone on, Bose hasn't really progressed in the home audio market. But I do know one person who has *8* Bose 901s in his basement. He is a huge fan of pipe organ music, and when he plays that music over his setup, it feels like you are *in* the pipe organ.
Although many companies call it time alignment or something similar its just signal delay. So they delay the signal to the speakers closest to you by milliseconds generally, so that the speakers arrive at your listening position at the same time, thus giving you a proper 2 channel stereo image.
Yes, Audiotec Fischer is the real deal - nice to see they were used as the manufacturer. Their lines of Brax and Helix are all killer SQ equipment made in Germany.
Well that was fun. I used to know something about sound and this was very cool. I also like the editing and effects. You can run your video past Hoovie and see if he wants some of that. Keep on being 100%Jake.
As a 50yo now a bunch of my friends are suffering hearing problems from working around engines and going to too many concerts. I know it sounds silly but you might want to take better care of your ears. Interesting video coming from a guy that has stock sound systems in all of my vehicles.
I have a 2017 Fusion Platinum with the Sony sound system. I added DSP to it, using Pioneer DSP units, DEQ-S1000A. I used separate units for the front and back, so that I could taylor the tweeters and the main door speakers separately. These units have time delay and a 32-band equalizer. Once you set the sound to your liking, the units will stay set that way. Each unit has 4 channels, so I now have all 8 main channels taylored to my liking. I disconnected the center dash speaker, and I run a separate subwoofer amplifier for my 2 Alpine subs. The difference is PHENOMENAL.
Tricky question. I spent 15 years banging my head against a wall memorizing the finger movements to recreate moonlight sonata, fur elise, etc. but could never wrap my head around theory enough to have any improv or even mediocre sight-reading skills. Another 8 years were spent doing the same with guitar and super simple first-seven-frets songs, but my technique was horrible and uncorrected and, again, couldn't wrap my head around improv theory or anything like that. I do have a couple video concepts that involve me recording covers of some copyright music but those haven't progressed much further than some Garageband noodling, frustrated when I realized painstakingly recreating the backing track manually was pointless when I could have just grabbed a MIDI and applied some automations to the instruments. Sigh. These days I mostly just listen to music and occasionally watch streams of EDM artists composing and doing sound design.

I’m using an iPhone 13 and the difference is very noticeable between the two, if I keep my current car I may consider looking at the amp for mine.
Same on my s23. Can clearly hear the right channel clearer and more evenly.

To quote LL Cool J " I still can't live without my radio!" Nice job.

Jake your new mission in life is to convince Tyler that with 1.5M subscribers to his channel it’s time to have more than one microphone.

@12:48 The moment we learned 100%Jake is really 100% Hugbees.
Happy Wednesday Jake
As usual on UA-cam, regardless of production quality or interesting content, the random cat photobomb is ALWAYS the best part.
Wow fancy green screen! guess you are upping the quality of your videos
Funny that BMW doesn't put a FADER control on their stereos...
Wishing they made stuff for the E46! Incredible product and great walk through.
Sounds a lot like a 70"s reverb. But better, under total control. I'm ancient but I like what you are doing.
absolutely spend money on car stereo if you spend your time on the road.
I want to update the stock head unit in my 2020 Jetta. It doesn't support an iPod. My 2020 Ford Fusion supports an iPod.
Any suggestions?

What does the “MEJ” vanity plate mean?
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Jake, are you a musician?

The Boomin System.

Never expected a car stereo video. You never do those over and over...
