      When you do the sc around in row 4, it should start cupping. I'd say your tension is too loose or perhaps you should go down a hook size. 😊

      hello if you are a beginner like me who alr knows how to crochet, it took me around 2-3 hours just for those spikes 😅😅😅 but it was worth it! i just finished mine today and it turned out great... but if youre intermediate to advanced in crochet, it'll prob take you an hour or less maybe... ty gl on ur crochet!

    • @doubledutchcrochet
      @doubledutchcrochet  5 місяців тому +1

      Hey! That really depends on your spread of crochet as well as your tension! Looser tension probably needs less spikes. I would say they take me 2ish hours to complete if I work non-stop! It’s a labour of love but I promise it’s worth it !❤️

    Hi! I need help! I am following the pattern and it’s pretty easy to follow; however, I think my yarn is the wrong size and the body is so much bigger than it looks like it’s supposed to be. What number size should I use for the pattern and if it is bigger, can I just amend it to work out similarly to the end product?

    • @doubledutchcrochet
      @doubledutchcrochet  5 місяців тому +1

      Hello! I used baby snuggle yarn, it’s a size 6 bulky! I also have pretty tight tension so yours may look different if you have very loose tension! Um you could take out some of the middle rounds but otherwise there isn’t much you can do to adjust it if you are using bigger yarn ! I hope that helps !

    • @ammekoehler9274
      @ammekoehler9274 5 місяців тому

      Thank you, I’ll try taking out some of the middle rounds. I tried to make the nose and it’s probably too big. Haha. I’ll try to adjust to make it work. Thanks again for the pattern! It’s adorable!

    How can I make it size of the pillow? 🥰

    • @doubledutchcrochet
      @doubledutchcrochet  5 місяців тому

      Hmm you would have to just use very jumbo yarn !

    • @user-nz5hj2ez6f
      @user-nz5hj2ez6f 5 місяців тому +1

      Okay, thank you❤) but can I just make more rounds or stitches? Like double it or something like that???

    • @doubledutchcrochet
      @doubledutchcrochet  5 місяців тому

      @@user-nz5hj2ez6f if increase the amount of stitches in the rounds you could, if you know how to do that! Like the body right now is max 32 stitches so you would need to increase it to way more than that to make it pillow size. Otherwise I guess you could increase the middle rounds but then it will just make it really long.

      Will this pattern work for acrylic yarn?

    • @doubledutchcrochet
      @doubledutchcrochet  5 місяців тому

      @@deeptisinha4709 it cshould yes! I have never made it in a medium weight yarn! I would suggest cotton if you are making it with size 4 yarn or smaller! Your finished product will be smaller so keep that in mind !❤
