- In this episode, we take you on a tour of the new Emu RV Z4S Campervan. This campervan seats and sleeps 4 people! We get some insights into the van from Marty, the owner of Emu RV and we share our thoughts on the campervan.
EmuRv is located in Penrith Sydney, owned and run by Marty, a fully qualified automotive mechanic with a vast knowledge of the Recreational Vehicle industry.
Whether you’re considering purchasing an RV for the first time or are seeking a specific make, model, or design, Marty has a friendly and helpful manner to assist with your RV needs. Marty and his team at Emu RV work with the reputable brand Nova Motorhomes to create these amazing campervans.

We enjoy part-time van life and traveling in our Jimny, creating weekly episodes that are live at 5pm (AEST) on Sundays, and sharing our experiences on our travels with our cavoodle, Twyla. Glad you enjoyed it and we locked the fact that they think about travelling with dogs also. With no Marty now for a few years from the caravan camping shoe. Great and well designed van, as long as you are prepared to sacrifice being able to get into standard car parking spaces. Always rent before you buy a van bigger than a standard park, as it is a real pain, if you love exploring small and bigger towns. It took me over an hour once to find a park in a popular town, in a van I had thankfully only rented. I knew from then on, I would never have a long bus length van, for that absolute inconvenience. I'm sure EMU does vans that do fit a standard car parking space. Looks like you all had fun!
That’s a great tip to hire a van to understand the size of the vehicle. Umu RV also have small wheelbase vans. Definitely up to the individual. Some people might like the long base because they’re going to stay in places longer and want the room or if you like Adam and I and yourself visiting small towns do you want to be able to park in those small spaces. I was so tempted to run through this video to see if you got a new van then go back and watch the whole thing. You didn’t mention air cons but I saw in the end when Adam got in the back door there was one there. OK it is beautiful, my biggest bitch about them is the amount of space on either side of the dining table. We had a Birdsville, pretty big motorhome but I hated the table, had we kept it I’d have put a two seater lounge in that space. We’ve gone smaller, and tomorrow when we pick up our brand new second hand van, even smaller still. We found we never used half the space so carried all that weight thus more fuel for nothing. Even the shower, very rarely used it, loo another story, we used that. The fuel economy is brilliant on the EMU, what did he say? 7 or 8lts to the 100km, I’m impressed with that. A lot of thought has gone into this van and it shows. (Does it have to be a Fiat though?)
To my understanding yes because the shower, water tanks etc are moulded to the shape of the van to get Mexican space. Definitely check out there website has lots of information. Thanks for watching. Regards Deano
Great review guys, one question, can you get it with an electric elevator bed rather than carrying a mattress?

No freebie van but one day we might buy one. For the prices they have them online. It just depends on if you want the extras or not. Is there space for hanging clothes or you need to fold them?
In the van that we are showing you in this episode, yes you would have to fold your clothes. But as someone who owns a van, I could give you many tips of where you could hang clothes in a van where there will not get in your way. This is definitely something you could speak to Marty the owner to see what they could do if you’re interested in buying a van.
