Unbelievable Discoveries In Forgotten Lost Mine Using Underwater Drone Rov!

A kibble here, a kibble there, seems to be kibbles everywhere. Good to see you again and a good show too.
Hooray! You are all back exploring! An interesting video, places for the ROV to go. Hope you are feeling better Al.
You have been missed! As ever, your channel is superior…great fun and informative for your viewers. This retired Geochemist loves Welsh coffin level mines. The Sulfate mineralization including Azurite is splendid. So fantastic. A blast from the past in a manner of speaking🤗
Cheers mates,
Dr. Lucy
Missed you guys! This is a treat. The age of these coffin levels is always mind boggling to me! Especially here in the U.S. where maybe some of the oldest workings around me are 1800s!
I love the long form videos btw, but don't mind the short form either! Especially if you just have something quick to show. The update in production quality and video though is much noticed and much appreciated, audio is especially important in these echo-y caves. Pls keep it up, you always got a loyal fan here
Well said! I am a retired Geochemist who has spent decades studying the Cascade Range volcanoes.
The oldest mine that I ever inspected was estimated to be worked as early as in 1829.
Hard rock mines in the Western U.S. are dangerous enough, but much easier to venture into. I was wary
of Rattlesnakes, Black Widow Spiders and bear habitats within those mines. The contamination from
Sulfate minerals made it mandatory to don ventilation masks. Not something I’d recommend anyone to attempt exploration, but I do understand the compelling nature of these mines!
Also, I would never recommend anyone attempt Death Valley, CA early mines. They were not only dangerous for those intrepid miners who blasted the Talc workings but also for anyone several centuries later who would be foolish to enter. Too many shaft collapses as Talc is the softest rock on the Moh’s scale. Ah, this old lady does ramble on, eh? Sorry for the wordiness, but your comment was spot on.
Best wishes, Dr. Lucy

Have you ever thought of doing a rubbing of the engravings so you could read and maybe preserve the signatures?

Marvellous comment as usual.
9:00 in lower left is an "F" in the rock.
The hanging wall of the fault is to the left upon entry.
Were did the name Mine come from .is it abbreviations from Minerals
