Hi John!!! Well done and good amount of cool info/trivia too..... i have never been numetal music fan, but have this one in my collection, got it from a former coworker who got rid of a stack of cd he didn't like. I don't know if ot's their best album, but i do remember the huge impact they had and those two video too.... cheers and be well
Yeah without a doubt...It's crazy you come out with this video expressing this opinion bc just a few months back I was digging into Korn's discog again after not listening to them for a while and was thinking "Hmm which album of theirs would be the best?"... if i had to choose! ANd I decided on this one.
I don't think it's their best but it is the fondest memory for me at that time of my life. I think Untouchables and the first three were better by a hair, but I love it. I used to work in a supermarket at the time. Whenever I took a phone call in the back dock area I drew the KoRn logo somewhere on the wall near the telephone with a permanent marker, eventually covering the desk wall
Believe it or not Untouchables is a phenomenal album as well. Got a Steller review from The New York Times. Which was Rather shocking actually. But you can hear even further evolution all around.
First two albums are the best. Also, while their songs are heavy, they're not "metal". The fusion genre they created is "nu-metal", a style of music fusing metal, hip hop, punk, grunge and various other genres.
I didn't like this album when it came out, but then it grew on me. Now it's my favourite. Somebody, Someone is my favourite Korn song.
Yeah, I know I think that it holds up very well.
I agree. I enjoy this album most.
Awesome
Korn's Issues is definitely one of their best albums in their discography.
Yeah I think it's a condender for their number one album
Very well done, ton of info for newcomers in just over 8 minutes :)
Yeah it was fun to make and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Yes this has always been one of my favorites. I bought this on CD when it came out and I still listen to it often.

That's awesome I'm glad I wasn't alone in thinking that.

That's cool. This band is very nostalgic for many people, myself included.
To me its their 3rd best album after their first 2 releases.
Yeah, that's a fair ranking

Yeah untouchables is a great album that's another one I bought as soon as it came out
@jcrockandmetalreviews Hollow Life and No One's There. Great overlooked songs in their catalog
Tough call but I agree all killer
Yes, I agree. This is a solid album.
For me their best with Life is Peachy and the first album.
Yeah that's cool. Life is peachy is another pretty good one.
First two albums are the best. Also, while their songs are heavy, they're not "metal". The fusion genre they created is "nu-metal", a style of music fusing metal, hip hop, punk, grunge and various other genres.
Yeah I know although the band doesn't like that label nü metal but that's what they are
i dont know, issues is currently sitting as my least favourite korn album
That's cool, I know sometimes these things are hard to rank.
It is their best to me. The earlier albums had too much filler material.
Yeah, I can see that argument being made.
The answer is no. The best two albums are Life is Peachy and self-titled album.
Those are good picks
No
Ok that's fair
No.
LOL ok
@jcrockandmetalreviews You asked. 🤷🏼
It was absolute garbage imo Their first 2 albums were great.. Follow the leader was Meh.. Issues was garbage 🗑️
That's cool.
Korn sucks
LOL ok
