You really can’t blame Homelander for becoming a monster. I think any of us would if we were raised that way but also had the powers he does.
A-Train's come a long way. He stared down Ashley, who was floundering, holding a vial of V (which he was once addicted to) and didn't even FLINCH as he spoke. He believed that Hughie would never truly forgive him, but still handed him the vial without another word.
"The Boys" is a dystopic world, so the protagonists can only fail against the greater powers.
These are the most traumatic moments of Homelander/John’s life and for the scientist. They were just doing their job and it was just Tuesday.😊

So we know homelanders dad is soldier boy. I’m guessing his mom is stormfront. She has been around forever. You know how these mad scientists are. Two of the strongest superheroes together in one child.
Homelander had rough sex with her in a sequence. That's too far and off putting even for that show.

Nunca mencionaron nada de Stormfront o que ella tuviera algo que ver, lo único que se menciona en la temporada 3 es que ella y soldier boy fueron fumadores del herogasm y que habían tenido cierta relación

You know, interesting to think about. The last character we saw covered in blood in recent popular superhero media was Mark in Invincible and when he killed Angstrom and he pretty much had a break down in that episode and in this episode of The Boys it's as though this is Homelander's big break. One character was broken and the other character was almost "set right" in a warped perversion of therapy kind of way.
I think that the V powered up the cancer in Butcher and has become sentient. Like the old woman in the diabolical series.

Homelander is losing his mind and Kimiko is beginning to question her life choices because of the people she's killed or scarred for life
we never found out who killed the stretchy guy, they just left us shot in the dark but hopefully we get a reveal episode before this season ends
