    Apparently, we only use the three primary colors (blue, yellow, and red) in addition to white, which is a neutral color, but we give them four colors metaphorically so that the novice trainees can understand the matter.
    But in fact, you can create an infinite number of colors by mixing these three colors together and obtaining beautiful oil paintings
    Primary colors are the basic colors that cannot be created by mixing other colors. In art, the primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. These colors are important in oil painting because they can be mixed to create all other colors on the color wheel.
    Oil paints are a popular medium for artists because they offer a wide range of colors, are easy to blend, and have a long drying time, which allows for more flexibility in the painting process. When it comes to oil paints, there are many brands and types of paint available, each with their own unique characteristics.
    White and black are important colors in oil painting, as they are used to adjust the value and tone of other colors. White oil paint is often used to create tints, which are lighter versions of a color. For example, mixing white with blue will create a lighter blue color. White can also be used to lighten other colors without significantly changing their hue.
    Black oil paint, on the other hand, is often used to create shades, which are darker versions of a color. For example, mixing black with blue will create a darker blue color. Black can also be used to darken other colors without significantly changing their hue.
    It's important to note that not all white and black oil paints are created equal. There are many different types of white and black pigments, each with their own unique properties. For example, titanium white is a popular white pigment that is very opaque and has a high tinting strength, while zinc white is a more transparent white pigment that is often used in glazes. Similarly, ivory black is a popular black pigment that is very opaque and has a high tinting strength, while lamp black is a more transparent black pigment that is often used in underpainting.
    When selecting white and black oil colors, it's important to consider the pigment properties and choose colors that are compatible with the other colors you are using. It's also a good idea to experiment with different types of white and black pigments to find the ones that work best for your particular painting style and techniques.
    It's worth noting that some artists prefer not to use black paint in their oil paintings and instead create shades by mixing complementary colors together. Complementary colors are colors that are opposite each other on the color wheel, such as red and green, blue and orange, or yellow and purple. Mixing these colors together can create a darker hue without the use of black paint.
    In addition to white and black, oil paints also come in a range of other colors, including earth tones, greens, blues, reds, and yellows, among others. Many artists also mix their own colors to create custom shades and hues.

    👋Good evening, dear Yasser. - This painting (like all the others) normally needs no words from me, it speaks for itself ! Therefore, not to forget, I send a huge praise for the artist and this super beautiful painting first. - From where we stand today, our view encompasses a richly wooded area in the midst of which a clearing opens up. We are given the impression of tall trees that dare to try to assert themselves against the unfavourable weather conditions on the hazy horizon under a sky that is still blue at altitude. Due to the conditions and the distance, however, they do not entirely succeed, but vague shapes lead us to conclude that there are deciduous trees, which appear almost transparent and turquoise-blue in colour. To the right of the centre, the forest looks denser, a dark sea of trees no longer allowing us to distinguish details. Where there is residual light just above the forest floor, however, we can make out many tree trunks, showing us that nature has the upper hand there. The undergrowth is certainly still intact in this location, and in addition to postulated mosses and lichens, we see low bushes and shrubs towards the edge of the clearing, in front of which lies a space probably cleared of greenery or a narrow area of low grass growth, spotlighted and brightened by the sunlight which is why we cannot state this with certainty. Directly to our right, a beautiful majestic deciduous tree rises on grassy terrain, pink blooming flowers growing at its foot, its mighty trunk only beginning to part into thick branches at overman height and finally splitting into thinner twigs that already seem to bear autumn foliage, glowing in the late afternoon sun in the most beautiful yellow and red-golden colours, interspersed with leaves which are still green. But it may also be that the sun is about to set, without it being autumn time yet, presenting itself once more in golden splendour and allowing the surroundings to participate. Part of the tree bark in the middle of the trunk may also once again enjoy the last warm sunbath before nightfall, for the shadows are getting longer already. Our gaze now wanders off and across the grassy expanse, which appears unmown because wildflowers sprout here and there from the waving greenery and raise their fair blossoms to the light that still shows itself in a broad streak. In the middle of the clearing there sits a house, which of course has not escaped our attention, since it is the focus and should have been dealt with first. But we almost always work our way from the edge of the action to the most important detail. (--> part 2)

    • @coramuller6065
      @coramuller6065 Рік тому +1

      part 2: . This building is already almost completely in the shade, except for the roof ridge, as it is also surrounded from this side by tall bushes and flowering shrubs that grow very close to the outer wall. The front gable end tells us that it was built of wood and has been painted a greyish blue due to the light conditions. We discover a window diagonally below the ridge, the framing of which has a brownish coating, but which seems to glow golden pink against the light at the crossbars, perhaps taking on the colours of the surroundings. It is possible that a light is burning in the room behind it or that the sun is once again reflected in the mullioned window. The ridge of the roof also appears light brown, while the saddle roof itself has taken on a reddish-gold hue. It seems to bear a wooden covering, which is additionally covered with a mat, the material consistency of which eludes our knowledge. Around the middle, this covering is either slightly damaged and in need of repair, or the shadow cast by a tree or tall shrub growing at the wall of the house only fools us into thinking there is a defect. The building appears to have an annex on the rear gable end, added at right angles, which also supports a brick chimney, lightbrown in colour, possibly surrounded by a second enclosure which is of a different colour, appearing reddish. Immediately to its left, a dark green coniferous tree is enjoying life. To the front left corner of the house, a large shrub grows, richly leafy and bearing white and pink flowers, which has already set out to conquer the gable end; its offshoots seem to have already worked their way up to the window and clawed their way in. Wood is always a little uneven and therefore sometimes allows such climbing manoeuvres. Someone has tried to contain the bushes on the gable end with some wooden rungs, but it looks like nature has been stronger and has already overpowered the little pergola; a wooden strut hangs sadly down. We now take another look at the left side of the building. The house does not seem to be a stately one, rather it appears to us like a normal residential house with a ground floor and one storey. So the assumption is that it is the lady of the house herself and not a maid, standing by the bushes with a basket in her left arm, preparing to pick some flowers or perhaps berries. She is wearing a light-coloured dress and probably has a blue apron tied over it. Her dark hair is pushed up with the help of a hair clip. Finally, and before darkness surprises us and drives away the last rays of sunlight, we retreat from this enchanting place. - Predicate: artistically valuable ! You have once again created an outstanding work of art that cannot be surpassed in terms of the beauty of the motif, details and color scheme; and yet you always manage to delight us with even more beautiful paintings. A tiny additional eye-catcher among the many others: the blue apron of the female figure. Thank you, dear Yasser. God bless you.🙏💖

      Glad you asked. I thought it was probably linseed and a solvent but good to have it confirmed. I don't use turpentine in my painting, not even for cleaning brushes (warm water and pure soap cleans the brushes just as well) but have used alternatives to turpentine for a similar mix.
