Your video are incredible ! Always full of surprises between animals, insects and amazing mushrooms. Parrot waxcap have incredible colors ! They are stunning ! I adore your photos of sulphur mushroom ! Your composition is perfect with all the details and also UV. Than you for sharing. I love to see all the search and photo process !
thank you! You'll only find them in grassland areas and they're very small and well camouflaged in the grass so don't be surprised if they're very hard to find haha
Another wonderful video, the parrot Waxcap shot is stunning. I particularly like the tiny mycena against the dark background, simply lit but striking. Your choice of music tends to add ‘feeling’ to each shot, as though we are looking at something special, almost sacred…..as always, stunning work 🤙
Gorgeous wax cap images, those Sulphur Tufts, and the Gallerina too, nature is just so beautiful. You have amazing eyes to see all these tiny mushrooms. Really haven't got a favourite, they are all great, the compositions all show them off so well. Appreciate you taking the time and effort on your field trips and all the editing to make the videos. Is it possible to delay the shutter if you are finding it hard to get the lighting set up, so you can the hand hold the torch? I can imagine that setting it up may take a long time. Thank you once again for my calming Sunday down time.
thank you! that is possible, I actually have done that for similar shots before, but I always find I can't hold the torch perfectly still so when stacking the images each one has slightly different shadows which makes the stacking much more complicated. Rather get it right in the field than try to correct it during editing :)
@@redal-uk aahaaaa! That makes complete sense about the movement of light, I should have let my brain think about it before tapping the keyboard. Definitely something I won't do then as hands are very shakey these days.

Those waxcaps are gorgeous. I'm definitely going to look out for those when on The Chase

thank you so much! I really appreciate it :)
Very nice photos. Parrot vaxcaps are my favorite, but they are not easy to shoot :)
thanks mate! yes they are a pain to get right especially when the sun's shining on them like it was for some of these!
