You are addressing the elephant in the room, the attack on fatherhood has been effective. Abandonment and doubt are the weapons of the enemy, and overcoming these are truly the way forward. When we assert ourselves from a place of grounding and authority, and establish boundaries that remove all control anyone else has over our thoughts or emotions, we have the effect God empowers us to have. Let her threats and doubting be hers only. We don't have to submit to her fear and manipulations, or wear the toxic twisted projections and perceptions they hold. Stand in your authority as the man God created you to be. How different would the world be if Adam had corrected Eve's folly and removed her from danger rather than let his lust of the eyes and poor teaching of scripture manifest through his wife leading the relationship. I can just see Adam standing BEHIND Eve as she was talking to the serpent, scared to interrupt for fear of hurting her "feelings". “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" Don't hearken unto the voice of your wife. This was Adam's sin, and the reason for our curse. Dont take on her folly, let it be hers! And I confess that recently I am struggling with some old ways and I do appreciate your prayers to help me man up and be who God created me to be. Please also pray for my wife.
