Think of the organisation , when those cattle ran through the town. This was another fantastic film , not only to be made, but to be conceived. Today' so-called blockbusters pale in comparison. Thanks for posting this.
Buster had genuine passion for movies and was committed to entertaining his audience, no expense spared. He went any lengths required to get what he needed to realise his visions - he was nick named the Little Iron Man because of this. And yes, I agree - today's films are like sausages churned out of a sausage factory. No real original content or quality.
@@Intelwinsbigly we can return to that era only in our dreams. It's very sad that the current generation are caught up in the social media "unreality". True talent and respect for humanity is a thing of the past.
Keaton fan! The cow stampede was used again on the Streisand comedy, " For Pete's Sake". Wonderful gags thru this movie, but all told by many, it's almost fictional getting cows to stampede on camera, so mainly it's Keaton running about. He later said, Brown Eyes was one of his favorite animals, he kept her for years!
I wonder how long it took him to run a mile? He's an outstanding athlete. If anyone knows, what ran out of the bushes? Brown Eyes is such an amazing supporting actress 😍
Hi Des. He was an amazing athlete and acrobat, his running was described as impressive. The only stunt he didn't perform himself was the pole vault into a first floor window in the film College. I think they were rabbits that ran out of the bushes 😊.
@Julio J Hi Julio. Thank you so much for your response and information. I am a newer fan so I'm still learning about him but enjoying every second of it. I really appreciate it ☺️
Goddamn this movie is fantastic. It probably singlehandedly inspired Godzilla, John Ford, Sergio Leone, Tom Cruise, and Jurassic Park. To be fair, it also rips off 'The Lost World' which was released earlier that year. Only slightly.

Buster Keaton movies are the funniest of the silent films.
HAROLD LLOYD FILMS ARE ALSO VERY FUNNY............
Full of Entertainment, full of Likes for this Masterpiece of work...
Isn't he just beautiful. What an era, the roaring twenties in America. A time in history of the like we probably won't ever see again, anywhere.
We are far too degenerate to return to such a golden age.

@@Intelwinsbigly too degenerate? Do you know anything about the 1920s?
@@MuffffinThe 1920s were Victorian-like compared to now.

Come on, Maguire is not that beautiful.
Sometimes he looks like.

Bruh
This is based on a very old print, it is not in pristine condition. 720p isn't going to restore it to new condition.

Maybe not. Many folk and dance tunes. Turn your sound down, if you don't like it.

Is that Babe London at about 58:13?
It could have been, Buster had use her before in The Ballonatic and Go West. One of the "ladies" is rumoured to be Roscoe himself!
