    One of the saddest and most beautiful of the big ballads and one of the most heartfelt of the singers. YT has Jean Redpath doing this too.

    Ray.One of Scotlands greatest folksingers. Always loved her easy voice.remamber Ray from the 60s.Tonight BBC tv

    I used to sing this, many years ago... Can you upload the track that starts, "I was born 'neath the shadow of a Fairfield crane, and that blast of the freighter's horn was the very first sound that reached my ears on the morning I was born" (I can't remember the title - sorry)
