Tipper, thank you for sharing all the information about all of your vegetables and flowers. You started with them as a young girl with Granny, and now the girls are carrying on doing what you have taught them. 💕 That's so wonderful! I really enjoy watching you and learning from you. 😊 Thank you so much. Sending blessings to you and all your family. 💗🙏
I'm always thankful and grateful for you and your family when you share your lives with us!!! Love, hugs and 🙏🙏🙏🙏 for anyone who needs it!!!!! Have a blessed, safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!!🌈🌈🙏🙏🦃🦃🦃🦃🌾🌾🌾💐💐💐💐🐿🐿🐿😉😉🤗🤗🤗😘😘😘😍😍😍💖💖💖❤❤😀😀💕💕😀😀😀🌈🌈🌈🌈🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ahh, the pleasure of beautiful flowers. . . and the pollinators love them too! 🐝🦋🐦 I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving w/Granny and 2 grandsons -- such a blessing.
I agree looking through seed catalogs on a cold dreary day makes the world brighter. My Ag department at school has a nice greenhouse and sometimes in the spring on a stressful day I'll leave the office and slip into it and enjoy the plants for a few minutes.
Love saving my seeds also and going through seed catalogs. Makes winter not so long if I'm planning my little garden. Mixing in flowers is an extra sight for sore eyes after winter.
I LOVE your enthusiasm for gardening (& seeds). My son just told me if I plant any more garlic, that I will be a crazy person! Oh well, crazy it is!! -much love ~Mary & fam in NJ
Hey Tipper, I can understand how you so thrilled over seeds. It's amazing what seeds give us. Enjoy your day with your family tomorrow as I will too. 😊
Hey there Tipper, I am always happy to hear from you ! So enjoyable! Such a blessing to know you and yours!! Thanks for sharing . Have awesome Holiday . ❤❤❤ &Prayers from Colorado
I've encouraged your daughters to learn herbalism. You should, too. ❤ God has given us everything we need for our skin and medicine and cleaning, too. It's very rewarding. 😊
Tipper you still have beautiful flowers as cold as it has been. On the outside of my window in the living room I have a space about as big as a postage stamp I am always talking about putting some flower seeds there, my granddaughter felt sorry for me i guess,so she set out rose bushes for me. They are red and doing good.
Happy Thanksgiving Tipper to you and your family! Another year Granny is still here to enjoy the Holidays, along with the precious baby boys and their 1st Thanksgiving!
Yes my nasturtiums reseed in the vegetable garden every year in upstate NY. We have lake effect snow coming tomorrow and really cold. They are predicting snow for Appalachia too. We will be having our Thanksgiving celebration on Friday as my granddaughter is a registered nurse at upstate medical center children's hospital and she has to work tomorrow. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
Plant the cosmos in rows just far enough apart for two little grandboys to walk between. The flowers will be over their heads as they toddle down Mamaw's Flower Tunnel.
Hi Tipper! Last year, I heard you speak about MI Gardener, so I checked him out. Thank you for sharing his info. I get a lot of my seeds from him now and have great success with them.
Dearest Tipper, I wish you and yours a very Blessed Thanksgiving and safe travels to everyone Traveling to be with Family and Friends ❤ Also Praying that everyone will remember all of the people in need. Especially those in N Carolina ❤❤. God Bless them all 💕🙏🙏
Alliance of native seedkeepers is a NC based company I learned about last year. They also had $2 seed packs. I haven't tried them yet but think about ordering when they restock for 2025. Grabbed a pack of beans called marrowfat that are supposed to taste a little like bacon from sow true seeds a few weeks ago when they were donating a portion of their sales to hurricane relief. I don't know if I will be able to grow them next year but it certainly sounds interesting.
Nasturtiums do reseed themselves, although mine did not come up until late summer, and didn't have time to bloom. So I'll have to plant some come spring. Purple cone flowers are perennials, so you don't have to worry about saving seed. I only seed save my annual seeds.
Tipper, you’re off to an early start by ordering some seeds for the spring garden. I’m sure you will be ordering a lot more seeds before time to plant. Have a Happy Thanksgiving to your entire family tomorrow.
I found a real good tomato this past summer called mamie brown, an heirloom raised by a little old lady from Virigina, really big huge tomato, really good tasting.Im a seed saver,do it every year,I dont have to buy very many, buy always looking.
Tipper I'm still trying to catch a leaf so I don't get a cold this winter 😊. Mom said you might not get a cold but you might break a leg trying ....God love her..😊
Sorry to bother you again,,just heard report from flood victums,,government is taking away tiny homes,,Campers from those living in tents!! Bears are attacking tents,, two peoples have died from the cold. This new report from Deep River Farms.has been checked out!! Please pray peoples come who can help... Miracles,,Miracles,, even though it is cold,,let these peoples be warm!! In Jesus name
I love hearing about all the seeds. Have you ever tried to grow the okra that can get real long and it is still good? I use to grow that and it would last till the first frost . They were really good and you don't have to plant as much. Well yall have a very Happy Thanksgiving and I'll talk to you sometime after. Hugs!
Pulled all the rest of the October beans today. Many are young and tender, so tomorrow I'll cook them up like regular green beans, just as you say you ate the Mother Stallard beans this summer. I'll let you know how they are in your next video. Those mini cosmos are sooooo pretty.
My zinnias finally bit the dust the night before last. I was amazed the lasted into the 4th week of November; usually they get frosted off around mid-October. I've gathered seeds all through the fall, along with marigold seeds and some white yarrow from the back alley. I want to put the yarrow in the front bed next spring. I hope my pastel yellow "cemetery iris" (the ones that I rescued from clumps in the cemetery the county cemetery commission cleaned up last year) bloom next year. My maroon and white ones bloomed very nicely this year after a slow start the year before. M plan is to put them all in a patch more toward the middle of the yard next summer after they bloom. also, I really want to start a bed of a mix of black eye Susan, yellow cone flowers, and wild bee balm with lavender flowers. There is a farm on the way to one of the cemeteries I visit every year that has a huge field full of black eye Susan and wild bee balm that is just beautiful.
You guys do a lot of videos with cabbage. Have you every made a video for cabbage soup? I did a search but didn't see any. Going to check out MI Gardener. Thanks for the video and have a very good Thanksgiving.
I've collected seed too. Hope you all have good Thanksgiving Tipper. Ask Corie to do a Olive dog food video.again for us. If she has time. Sending love. R. My next calendar with you will be third growing season with you.
I have been pulling zienna seeds off for a couple months abetting the flower heads dry. They just keep blooming even here in southern Indiana. The birds were eating the seeds left to dry on the flower.I have a coffee can full.

Im going to try nasturtiums here in Northern California. You have inspired me.

Happy Thanksgiving Tipper an family God bless u all
Have nice thanksgiving
Thank you for this video! Have a very Happy Thanksgiving and be safe! Praying for everyone affected by Helene. ❤🙏
Taking a few labeled envelopes out with you when you harvest seeds could be a time-saver. No need to have to go through them again.
If you don't already, you might consider borage. Great for the skin in creams and lotions, plus they're edible.

I have a bad seed problem too. Most all of mine come from Luke at MIgardener. Pull my last onion here in mid Michigan yesterday.

Sounds good! Thank you 😊
Supposed to get unusually cold in SC this weekend, too but forecasted to be in low 70’s on TG Day!
Thank you for watching!
Hated can beets as in a can. Found out fresh and roasted yum and pickles and borscht. Which is good for my anemia yum

I can't eat beets. I tried. They are too earthy.
