EELS - Green Man 2019 - entire performance

- Immediately following their blistering Pukkelpop set last year the EELS crew packed up the truck and the band jumped on the bus late that night for the impossibly long trip to play at UK's Green Man Festival - the next afternoon! They didn’t think they’d make it - but they did. And they brought it! You can’t hear the audience in the mix (they were amazing) but as a result, you CAN hear every little nook and cranny of the EELS live set, and for the first time you can hear what the EELS say to each other between songs. This may be the most intimate EELS live experience, and the fine folks at Green Man are allowing EELS to post the entire show for you to watch it free!

Today's a weird one for me. It's the day after getting let go at my job. Nothing tragic, comes with the territory when you're temping, and the funny part is I feel hopeful and optimistic rather than discouraged and upset.
I am free to make choices moving forward, and THAT is a blessing. One I am grateful for and, more precious still, is the awareness of just how privileged that makes me.
May love and mercy find you where you are and know that it's ok to not be ok sometimes.

there is a live cd but agree, it would be great if they did an anniversary tour - loads of great music over the years but that is still my fave of them all

I just adore this band. they were the soundtrack of my mid 20's to mid 30's until i married and my wife who said grow up you are too old to be listening to that. I said hell nah and we are now divorced. so one of us was correct

Saw them yesterday at the Alcatraz in Milano. Amazing gig. And the guitar tone of The Chet is incredible! How come there is so little info about him on the internet? @premierguitar should definitely do one of their rig rundowns about the Eels!
