What's with the thumbnail of HMS Belfast?
North Carolina did not participate in every major naval battle, it was not at Midway.
They said "offensive" so maybe they meant more like "theater campaign" as opposed to specific battles?
The also said she was painted while being repaired from a sub attack in 1944, that attack happened in 1942.
