Pixel Buds 2 Mic Test on Android
Вставка
- Опубліковано 14 жов 2024
- Just a short test to see how clearly you can hear people on the Pixel Buds 2 microphones. Honestly, it was disappointing at times and impressive at others (in the end I do a test with loud servers and I couldn't hear them much at all which was really impressive). Judge for yourself and let me know what you think in the comments. This was recorded using a Pixel 3XL android phone.

This is the kind of test we all need!
You are very kind, thank you!
How about having a test for street noise with cars and breeze in the background?
That's a good idea I'll work on adding a city noise test.
On my new videos I've added this test. Thank you for the suggestion.
A UA-camr who ACTUALLY delivered on their promise of doing a new video?! Consider me a new fan (and subscriber) !
@@RoNiminal I don't want to set the bar too high for myself but I do want to try my hardest to help others with this channel. Thank you for the kind words and the sub :)
Best review
Thank you for your kind words. I really hope this is helpful to people since it less opinion and more just data to let you decide. In the future I'd like to get better audio equipment to make the tests even better. Again thank you very much for your comments and for watching! :)
Fact:
"I have the Pixel Buds 2 for some days already and I'll still choose my Samsung Galaxy Buds+"
Galaxy Buds+ Advantage:
* Battery life is much longer
* Mic is clearer with S20 Ultra & iPad Pro 2020, when doing audio/video calling
* Sound has more bass & treble
* Accidentally put buds+ in washing machine for more than 20 minutes and still working like new
* It fits snugly and it doesn’t hurt at all & looks better!
* And many more advantages....
(By the way, y'all will notice that all PAID TECH REVIEWERS, are like ADS by Google)
Have a great day to y'all
Quick question, what did you use to get the mic sound. Can't seem to do it myself. Thought using the camera would work but I guess not?
I used an app called Easy Voice Recorder Pro. There were others that worked but this one gave me the most control over file types, quality, saving it to uncompressed .wave files etc.
@@techfireside thank you 👍🏼
Wow it picks up so much background noise Do you think a soft wear update could fix that Backround noise
That's a really good question. From what Nvidia is doing with RTX Voice (I have a Mic test using that) I've seen that software can be very powerful in removing background noise. I think it's possible Google could do something similar but I have no idea if they will or not (or if phone processors/gpus can handle that kind of thing yet). Seems like something they should look into though.
Could you Do the Galaxy buds +
I'd love to but currently I don't have access to a set. I might try to snag a pair if they go on sale though.
Make a comparison video with Airpods Pro
After testing these that was my first thought too :) I'll see if I can get my hand on a pair somehow. I'm really interested in hearing the difference.
ua-cam.com/video/gxRlPF2pI8w/v-deo.html Here ya go :) Not exactly a comparison video but you can play these back and forth and see what you think.
@@techfireside thanks man! Really appreciate it.
That's bad!
I agree. Other than the server room test (wind/fan noise) they seemed pretty bad at filtering out pretty much any other ambient noise.
