I just found your channel and honestly, it's one of the most helpful ones I've seen! My horse is a quarter horse mare we believe to be about 16 or 17. She was raised and trained in western and has never seen an English saddle. She had the drive for jumping, but she also has troubles when I ask for a trot. She's very forward with he walk, and once I get her into a walk and a canter, she begins to buck. I think she's absolutely love jumping and she'd be awesome at it, but you obviously can't jump at a walk. She's fine with trotting, cantering, and galloping when we're working cows, so when she has a job and she's focused, but otherwise, she always bucks. Got any tips on keeping her still and in a straight line and in rhythm when we pick up the pace along with starting a western horse in English?
