- Georgia Tech knocked off the No. 17 North Carolina Tar Heels, 46-42. The Yellow Jackets rushed for 348 yards, 178 by running back Dontae Smith, 90 by quarterback Haynes King and 80 by RB Jamal Haynes. King completed 23 of 30 picks for 287 yards and 4 touchdowns. UNC quarterback Drake Maye threw for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 58 yards and another TD, while running back Omarion Hampton rushed for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns in the loss. The two teams combined for over 1,200 yards of offense along with the 88 points in a high-scoring thriller.
One of my favorite plays of the unc football season is at 3:05 in the 4th quarter. Thanks Tech!!

Great that the acc allows flash photography right in the face of the receiver when the game winning catch is on the line. Play stands? Ha. Touchdown should have been confirmed. This league is a joke. Looking forward to next decade when it doesn’t exist.

Drake Maye deserved better. His last 2 plays scream FRANCHISE QB. Sucks that the team around him is so bad.
