I fixed the broken hinge on my sister's laptop!! Thanks for the detailed video!! Unfortunately there was a stripped screw on the heatsink so I couldn't remove it and change the thermal paste, bummer. It's 5-6 years old too. Also if I had known, I would have replaced the battery too!

Yea the hinge is on the metal bracket running up the side and skipped that part 😢
