Man this was peak for Monster High. Idk what it has become now, but nothing will ever beat this era of the franchise. Granted, I'm biased because I was so deep into the fandom, the online roleplay community, and the movies, so it's a lot of nostalgia for me. But the old Monster High touches a part of my heart like nothing else can. Even the new version. I wish they had a bigger budget to do a better job with the live action movie.

We were in 1st or 2nd grade and we saw that all the 12-13 years old "big girls" played with Monster High dolls and singed the songs and knew everything about the caracters and this was the coolest thing we could imagine. As a kid, I always struggled to fit in and make friends

I’ve always suspected that I had some sort of autism or ADHD, and the other kids would often find me weird and outcast me
Even my own parents would sometimes get frustrated by my condition, often telling me how much of a scatterbrain I was and calling me all sorts of hurtful things
Monster High taught me that, maybe being different wasn’t so bad, that it made me unique, freaky flaws and all
The fact that they saw differences as something to be celebrated and encouraged instead of shunned was such a breathe of fresh air for my insecure self
And I didn’t cared what my religious mother would say about them about how they promoted satanic stuff or whatever, Monster High was, is and will always be my all time favorite doll line
I’m about to enter college now, and I’m still hooked up to all the webisodes, watched and rewatched all the movies at least a dozen times, and collect every single doll I can find
But most importantly, I still live by its motto to this very day
Be Yourself, Be Unique, Be a Monster
If monster high school exist I wouldn't skip school
