He had given it to his mother who wrapped it in a cloth and kept it with her somewhere... And oly after her death they got it searching her room. And just after saying this he said that life shouldn't be water that is stagnant but flowing. This hit me hard. Whatever respect i have for him went X1000

Ranveer got emotional when A. R. Rahman sir said "when I see the enthusiasm in your eyes it cheers me up". He is such a pure, kind hearted soul. Love you Ranveer ❤️❤️ and keep up the good work 👍
The guy will be 55 in 4 months. Works like crazy but no wrinkles around eyes. No pressure. No weight of "I am ARR". People like ARR, APJ and others are living karma yogis who have found their surrender in the divine, have let go, give joy and leave quietly. Funny thing to say - ARR is not about Music.
I am from Chennai, tamil guy and HONESTLY i was waiting for years exactly for someone to ask him such deep stuffs to ARR and this is the FIRST and ONLY interview which opened him up in a SPIRITUAL way!!♥️
At 7:14 When he said im learning from you, I could see the enthusiasm in your eyes, is a different kind of communication, Ranveer felt something for several seconds, he did not let it come on the camera Or I dont know. Anyways, its always a spiritual journey to listen to A. R. Rahman Sir. Thanks

This man turned from an extremely depressed young adult to interviewing a LEGEND... THIS is what you call overcoming the darkest hours of life. Ranveer, you're an inspiration for millions. Thank you! 🙏
This is exactly what I wanted to hear today.... listening my all-time favorite A R Rahman talking about surrendering oneself to the supreme power and let be the instrument, so we don't take the burden. It was one of the days when I was questing God and why he is making me suffer and was losing hope, but this episode made me smile . Watching A R Rahman always brings a smile... Thank you for your music and for being so humble.
This is the best AR Rahman interview ever! Great questions asked, follow-up questions asked, Ranveer was a great listener and not just asking questions for sake of doing it. In the beginning of the interview I felt Ranveer is starting slow and will come back to filmy questions later. But how nicely he stayed on life lessons, spirituality and asked those filmy questions under the umbrella of those life lessons. For instance, Kun faya kun. Nobody asked Rahman sir ever, about this song in this much detail. First time somebody asked him about what went onto making this song, what went behind the scenes. I have been following this gentleman AR Rahman since 1995. Trust me I have watched all of his Interviews (yes, all of them. Even the Tamil interviews, even though I don't understand it). This one by far the best Interview in last 20 years. Before this, Simi Grewal in 2000s took his detailed Interview and asked questions about his beliefs in God, spirituality and made him comfortable to answer those questions and then his first biography by Nasreen Munni Kabir too. In this world of noise, egos, over ambitions, Rahman is still the guy who is not trying to impress anyone. Just doing his work to fill his soul. And that comes to the listeners automatically. We feel the presence of the almighty in his songs because Rahman stays in that realm of Sufism to bring those greater joys to us from that realm. Thank you Ranveer for doing this. I got one more Interview to watch repeatedly 🙏❤️

I just love this man simply for who he is, when he talks it's like one should blur all the things around and just focus on this amazing personality this beautiful human talking.
First time seeing rehman sir speaking so frankly speaking his mind ,its the power of Ranveer , the comfort he gives a good listener and great at curiosity to make them engage in suçh deep conversation.
Sachin Tendulkar and A R Rahman both were child prodigy and blessed by the almighty. Both of them are very humble and soft spoken person. Success hasnt got in their mind. Hope one day u interview Sachin Tendulkar as well
it felt like you really understood the stature of man and behaved accordingly. not a hint of arrogance or cockiness. a r rahman for me is more than music. he is an idol an inspiration.
One of the best podcasts ever .. both ThalaivARR and Ranveer Rock . Finally someone had a deep conversation with ARR. Every time you listen it there is a different message you can infer for life
This is what makes ar rahmna ar rahman . He is a gem as a person And now it is confirmed it must be the priority to get better as a person thn the skill will eventually get better with the over all personality improvement.
Not just an another interview of the music maestro. It's a quest of seeker on the path. See the curiosity in his eyes, he comes back again and again, to questions which can lead him to look deeper into Reman's spiritual journey. Rehman's way is time tested, killing ego, eating less, being respectful to others. Great interaction 👍👌👏.
THIS IS CRAZYYYYY RANVEER !! A.R. Rahman Sir ❤️❤️ And what's commendable is that he doesn't talk SO MUCH. You made him talk about such deep things❤️ you've come long way man. Wishing you all the more success ❤️❤️
I keep coming back to this interview again and again. I've followed ARR ever since I was a kid, and my relationship to his persona and his music has evolved constantly. After this interview, a lot of things finally made sense about him. Not just how he's so good, but WHY he's so good. Thanks Ranveer for an absolutely thoughtful and brilliantly done interview with amongst the most spiritual person I know and love.
One of the humble Person of our country, thanks Ranveer Brother ! For this PODCAST, and talk with A. R Rahman is biggest achievement of your PODCASTS 🔥.
Mr ARR just moved me from a zone that "god never exist" to "may be we know the history of universe but still we need a brain space that accepts there should be something which guides and controls us for better life" I love your "PETTAI RAP" ARR sir!!
Wow! You are bringing guests who wont talk about all these things to anybody else.. The questions you ask are evolved itself which makes your guests feel that you will understand what they say. You are doing a fantastic job Ranveer.
Stuck on this line of A.R. Rahman that he doesn't argue about the things he doesn't like. He rather moves on and do it by himself. I relate to him. In fact I am stronger in my beliefs now. ❤
Ranveer was not just flattered.. he was touched by the genuine connection. he truly is an empath and in tune with what he does!! More Power to u Ranveer !! Thank u for this gem of a conversation. I am still understanding what all AR Rahman said.. a screen between us n self. . so profound!!
Oh my god !! Ranveer u are a genius..I have never ever never ever seen him talking like from the heart.. he was sooooo talking from within .. he was able to open up so well and i really din know he cud give like an interview like this !! Thank you ❤❤❤❤

A.R.Rahman music is unique from anyone and it can be heard in the instruments he uses. More power to him. He is a pride of India and Indians across the globe.
Thank you for making this. I’m in the USA and a fan of this amazing composer. I very much appreciate hearing the perspectives on spirituality, music, and Indian culture Beautiful offering! 🙏☺️

First Indian fashion you tuber interviewing with first Indian music man of Oscar .... It was very great inspiration to put up ourselves to go further whatever might be a life...
The state of mind he is in....in that emptiness it is just a learning process. So well explained of how 'ego' is a huge world in itself. So much to learn from him.
My heartfelt for that ultimate energy when Sir said the last sentence "why the bamboo fruit cries because it has cut out of his source". This says how deep AR Rehman Sir is in the source of that energy 🙏
When Ranveer said to all young musicians and by musicians he mentioned all the musicians..I actually relate to myself and felt that....Thanks Ranveer..you perfectly deliver the message to your audience through your podcasts !!
I don't know how I missed this episode for 1 year with The AR Rahman sir(Thanks to YT suggestions). I felt it is because of your way of natural conversation Ranveer that we all could experience AR Rahman on another level altogether, much deeper and opened-up self of him, that we never ever experienced before watching, in any of his previous interviews. Thank you BeerBiceps🙏
I am a huge huge fan of Rehman sir... I have watched many many interviews of him... But this is the only podcast where he spoke so much.., otherwise what happens he speaks very less

Salute to ranveer for making such a podcast ranveer please live eternally you are impacting lives in which you cannot imagine.
How beautifully he said "This is what the mind wants and I followed it"
I just love this man simply for who he is, when he talks it's like one should blur all the things around and just focus on this amazing personality this beautiful human talking.
Perspective of a musician towards life is so beautiful.
Thats the power of spirituality, I heard many youngsters and atheist saying that God is making you weak, ARR is the name what that faith is created.
Hope one day u interview Sachin Tendulkar as well
The part at the end when AR sir speaks about god touched me! His views on god are very fresh and pure. Thank you Ranveer for bringing AR sir!
Muru bhal lagil bh bhairav
it felt like you really understood the stature of man and behaved accordingly. not a hint of arrogance or cockiness. a r rahman for me is more than music. he is an idol an inspiration.
One of the best podcasts ever .. both ThalaivARR and Ranveer Rock . Finally someone had a deep conversation with ARR. Every time you listen it there is a different message you can infer for life
This is what makes ar rahmna ar rahman .
He is a gem as a person
And now it is confirmed it must be the priority to get better as a person thn the skill will eventually get better with the over all personality improvement.
Very True about A R Rehman's sufi songs, not only kun faya kun but arziyaan and piya haji ali also😇
THIS IS CRAZYYYYY RANVEER !! A.R. Rahman Sir ❤️❤️
And what's commendable is that he doesn't talk SO MUCH. You made him talk about such deep things❤️
you've come long way man. Wishing you all the more success ❤️❤️
A R Rehman is giving you an Interview, you are few of them... God bless you!
Lots of love from kashmir...He is a very pure hearted person that is why God gives him so many respect in this world ...and U Ranveer as well
One of the humble Person of our country, thanks Ranveer Brother !
Me too
Wow! You are bringing guests who wont talk about all these things to anybody else.. The questions you ask are evolved itself which makes your guests feel that you will understand what they say. You are doing a fantastic job Ranveer.
So much respect one gets by listening to AR Rahman talk or sing. He is beyond religion, like Rafi. True, music is God.
For the past 10+ years I get most of my inspiration from A R Rahman interviews. I'm no big shot but still inspiration and motivation is for all.
Stuck on this line of A.R. Rahman that he doesn't argue about the things he doesn't like. He rather moves on and do it by himself. I relate to him. In fact I am stronger in my beliefs now. ❤
This is called the real success....The A.R Rehman on your show😍❤God bless you Brother keep growing👍

You literally create a zen environment in all your podcasts where every person you interview just immerses. Congratulations for being able to do that at such a young age!
Vry happy to see the maestro MrA.R Rehman sir.I used to fight with my friends that AR Rehman sir can do anything.

Whenever Ar rahman sir quote Rumi..omg so 100% right ..I am not able to express but just feeling it. 🙏
We feel blessed n proud to be born in d era of d MAESTRO A R RAHMAN SIR. ..
The state of mind he is in....in that emptiness it is just a learning process. So well explained of how 'ego' is a huge world in itself. So much to learn from him.
Omg.. Ranveer you are such a lucky dude! AR has spoken long and smiled many times 🤩
ARR the humbling humility that he is , and thnks TRS for getting this through
It is really amazing what Ranveer can extract from people. Not everyone has the art to extract the pearls of wisdom from the deepest Oceans 😘
I am so much drawn towards how AR sir is grounded, wise and smiling throughout the interview. ❤
Revisiting this - AR Rahman - what a legend
i have never heard AR speaking this much. I think he needed this interview to speak his heart. ♥️
Bring The Great Singer Padma Bhushan Dr. KS Chithra. Her perseverance and relevance to this day after 4 decade long career, despite all difficulties is an inspiration.🙏🙏
