- Hi everyone! My channel name has changed from Twisted Boards to Twisted Woodshop to match my website.
I just wanted to say thank you for the support this year and show my appreciation for over 2k subscribers by giving away a set of free woodworking plans and a couple hand tools.
You can download the plans for a shaker style table with tapered legs for free from my website until the end of December.

I dig the name change! Just getting back into woodworking after giving it up in 2012 when my Dad passed. It was something that we always did together, and it always brought us closer, regardless of the sometimes rocky relationship we had. I'm ever mindful of Dad and everything he taught me, and he's in everything I build now, as I still strive to make him proud and honor his memory.
Earlier this year I was "relieved of" the vast majority of my tools when my family and I went out of town for a week to take the kids camping, so needless to say I could really use some #handtools ! Keep up the good work!

Dave, I have been primarily a power tool woodworker. In the past year I have been soaking up as much knowledge about hand tools and techniques, since I have subscribed to your channel and listened and watched you I have developed more confidence in use hand tools. I’ve only seen a couple of your videos, but they have been fantastic for a newbie like myself. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow and you never get over technical or assume your viewer knows. You also come over like a decent guy with no edge. Congratulations on the roaring success, but I have to say I’m not surprised, though I am a little that you are still relatively new to presenting as you did it so well. I’m glad the closing date for the giveaway has passed, because although I am subscribed with the bell rung I have no idea if you can see it or not. I use the iPad app and there’s several features missing on it.

I have the veritas marking gauge and use it all the time. It's really a great product. For dovetailing i use a japanese dozuki saw. But i'd love to try out the veitas one. #handtool #handtools

Hey Dave, want to let you you you have some great content on you channel. I've been subscribed for about a week now and think I've watched just about every video you have up. I really enjoyed the vid on the shaker cabinet you did with hand tools. I've recently started woodworking using primarily hand tools and that video is quite inspiring and something i would love to make one day. Thus far I have made a few projects including a roubo style work bench, and wine bottle rack (first attempt at dovetails), and some small boxes. Anyway, I look forward to some more great content from you. Keep up the great work. #handtool
