Very cool! My first concert at 11 years old was the 77 love gun tour at the Spokane Washington coliseum. It blew my mind just how amazing it was!! I was the biggest Kiss nerd in the 70s.
Hey Dylan, Ace did solo on the front riser in Tucson at the Community Center in late August. I was there - my 5th Kiss show ever. I also saw them twice on Destroyer, once on RARO, twice during Love Gun before Alive II came out. Tucson was just under 3 weeks from the final show of the LG tour in Houston in early September.
Yea! I’ve looked forward to your presentation of this one. It was one of the first boots I got. I planned to just get and the HTH box but then I was hooked. Around 10 boxes, several boots. But this one is so well put together! Funny, I wear gloves when I look at them. Still waiting to play the vinyl… in fact I will probably play other boot versions if I have em. Really enjoyed hearing your description of the sound quality.

I was 6 years old in ‘77 and was obsessed with Kiss and especially Love Gun…had the 8 track listened to it non-stop, had a jersey I wanted to wear all the time, the jigsaw puzzle, bubblegum cards…all things Kiss.
Childhood well spent!

Sure would be but given what a nightmare it would be to license the photos from all those photographers, it would almost be impossible.

KISS with Cheap Trick opening was my first rock concert in life. July 18, 1977 at the London Gardens, DRC was the opening song. KISS played for a little over an hour after an hour-long intermission between bands. The sound was so intense it made the cement arena floor vibrate, and the amp cabinets were piled on the stage up to touching the rafters. For a hockey game the London Gardens could hold around 3200 people, the night KISS played it was packed over capacity with 4400.
I've been looking for a true copy (preferably original) marquee poster showing all the Canadian Summer Tour dates, it was used in record store displays only. Where or who can I order this package from?

There is a nice exception where the sound quality (I can appreciate an okay audience tape but soundboard for the win) matches the ante of the packaging. I'll be unboxing some sets down the line that are like that!
Those photos cards are STRAIGHT from the KISS bubble gum card set! Super cool!
Do these bootlegs ever come out on CD? The background music sounds great!
The alternate Alive II studio takes are great, I like Larger Than Life better than the original.... That's a killer set!

Wow. Now that box I have to get it. Live II is my favorite live album from Kiss.
They actually came close to me in 77 but I wax 8. I couldn't go I was to young (shit lol)

Great Video!! This is the only Bootleg Box Set that I own.
It is the hardest one to find, there are many copies of
Royal Highness (Dynasty Tour) part 1 and 2 that you can buy online.
As for the Book-Volume 1: Canada this is because all the photos inside
are of the Canadian tour and the cool inserts like the flag and sticker
and photos are from Canada as well. Since it was a box set and Montreal is the only
show available they needed a second show to complete the box so they
used FT. Worth. There will NOT be another set made, this is it.
For Love Gun you have I WAS THERE LA Fourm Box Set, Madison Square Garden
1977 Box Set and this one-Can Am Tour 1977 Box Set. That's 3 sets!!
This one, Can Am came out in 2021 and there is no news of another similiar box coming out.
For those Kiss fans who feel uncomfortable because it says Volume 1 on the book, don't worry!!!!!!!
That's the way they wanted to make it. Its a stand-alone box set, not part 1 with part 2 never coming out!!!!!

Since next year is the 50th anniversary of KISS Alive, do you foresee a Box set in the future?? I certainly hope so, that was my introduction to KISS IN 1975. It would great to have . Hey there! Unfortunately all box sets/new releases are on hold due to some stuff going on between KISS and Universal. Could be possible in a few years time but not any time soon.

There's no way a picture disc sounds good.
Not to be a dick but there's 4 stage of vinyl quality.
PVC ,with nothing added, the highest quality pressings are this.
PVC with carbon added,the standard vinyl record and sonically great.
PVC with added dyes,colored vinyl,not great sonically.
Picture disc,awful sound quality.
For me they only for collecting or display,it's quite frustrating they put such good material on such a poor medium.
