You can do it! I know you can. Just find some videos on youtube and follow along. Later find a class or meetup group of people who are liked minded and you will have a great time and be cool to grandkids!
I can dance now ..,but these line dances are so hard for me to learn. I don’t even know the ‘lektric slide real good! I want to learn the one to Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous”. The women in the club get it like it’s walking. White ppl tell me to please sit down cause I’m embarrassing them. I can free style like a fish to water. I guess I don’t like being instructed. I’m the girl in the round that people came to see and women want to be. I just want to be a follower for these dances and be like normal girls doing the line dances. Dang!
It just takes practice. It helps if you can find a group to practice with, but you can learn from watching the videos, that is one of the reasons I post them. Keep it up I know that you can get it. Never worry about the haters, they will always be there. It is about having fun. They do have regional and national line dance parties where they have workshops that you can learn and then practice that night during the party.
