Stucco or wetdash #render many names for the repair on the old wall the old rough cast had seen its day going boss and loosened due to the rust on the beads and metal lath holding it onto felt and timber, You should never plaster or render straight over timber so on the video i show the way I went around putting this exterior stud wall right and fresh good as new again with my full preparation shown new mixes and ratios given along with the additives and why i do and don't do what i am doing :) Shown the tools used and every step of the way on video with my explaining martials methods the lot. #bostrenderrepair #cementplaster #stucco

The wire lath and and pvc beads are what are used here in Florida over wood frame areas of houses, most of the homes are bungalows block
So only gables and small areas get the wire, great job mate 👍

Lovely job buddy. Your mad not taping with a bit plastic on window. Oi easy and n the bricky chant eh lol. Dry dash 50sqm on Friday. Had small crack lucky boy spotted it later on was 1 foot up from floor on a 700mm panel. Was scorching hot lucky big gable and rest was good. A tend hose first thing then hit with straight SBR to seal last left to helper as picking more stuff am guessing was a half arse effort. lol. Having got any more dry dash videos coming mate. 🤙

Always tape up dolphin orange tape great tape. Thin plastic. Windy could be a pain so easier poss with heavy visqueen. Glass protector pain in the ass and dust or wet so end up tape it anyways. Sheet plastic just covering glass 2inch wide right round covering the frame most pvc at times still has plastic film left on frames. Window sills the orange tape across them all nice and snug. Find pretty quick to tape them plastic on sills more snagging trowel or that or a rough loose bit plastic. Don’t do much wet dash mostly just dry dash and k rend mono here and there. Wet dash back to question fuck yes am bricky to trade don’t have the wet dash down to a t yet wouldn’t be as accurate as your self most definitely. lol. Plastic tape window done correctly never nothing to clean 1 second to whip off. A get what your saying if bit tape to far into frame pull can end pulling a bit off. That’s why a tend covering myself as too letting the labourer do it lol.

Brother That’s how plastering (stucco ) is done in Canada , two layers of building paper and then 17 gauge galvanized welded wire . And plaster work . But how do you like plastering on wire ?? Was it nice or would you rather plaster on top of block , brick ?

@ernestogonzalez17 it's not too bad I do think brick and block a better job over time
