Humans Connecting with Horses 2020 Virtual Conference
Webinar: My Stuff, Your Stuff: What Comes Up in the Space Between Horses and Humans
Webinar Summary: Relationships with horses in some ways are like any other relationship, in the sense that they involve two beings interacting and engaging to the best of their abilities. The degree to which this process feels deeply connected and nourishing, disconnected and destabilizing, or simply frustrating and dissatisfying reflects the degree to which we are aware of our stuff, their stuff, and how this stuff shows up and gets tangled up in the present moment. This webinar will invite you to become more curious about the intersections between your stuff and your horse’s stuff, through a combination of composite case examples, discussion and reflection. Resources to support further exploration of your stuff and your horse’s stuff from a somatic, attachment, psychodynamic, parts work, and trauma-informed perspective will also be suggested to deepen your learning beyond this brief introduction.
