My mom died when I was 15 in my arms, my brother was 8, my sister was 2…. My Dad would come home from work and just go in his room for a period of about 2 years…. When I got older and spoke with him about what he went through when my mom died, he told me he cried himself to sleep every night for at least a year….. I hope me and my kids never have to experience that reality. God bless everyone!

When I first saw Nikki Minaj I had to avert my eyes. She looked too fake for me to take her seriously. It's still hard for me to look at her because I've never allowed myself to look at her and get used to what she looks like.

I had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with Janelle Monae in Atlanta (she's a friend of a few friends of
mine), and when I tell you, she has an aura about her. She's positively tiny (I'm 6'3" and she's around 5'1"), but she commands attention and eyes, even with her dimuntive size, immediately turn to her.
She's also incredibly friendly and has a wonderful sense of humor. She's legitimately one of the good ones in terms of celebrities.
