I love dethklok and all of their songs. One thing I always really wanted to hear so badly was a finished version of the jam session they had trying to play grandpa guitars for the first time. They literally played metal in acoustic and it blew my mind. I want to hear that full song!

Brendon Small, Gene Hoglan, Bryan Beller and Mike Keneally are the actual band. They do play these songs live. I've seen them when I was living in Colorado with Mastodon. No, Nathan Explosion and the gang aren't real, but Brendon and the others still record the songs anyway, so THEY are Dethklok.
@Brice855464 Yeah, but just so everyone knows, those are all the Touring people. Brendon Small and Gene Hoglan are the only two who play the instruments in the studio in stuff. Bryan Beller says in an interview that he only works on Bass during concerts
A lot of people refer to it as Dethklok though. It's easier to say "Hey, did you see that new Dethklok tonight?" rather than "Hey, did you see that new Metalocalypse tonight? It's just preference I guess.
