if you think about it, this could be interpreted as less black doom brainwashing shadow, and more gerald robotniks programming re-surfacing in him.
his journal even says this was shadows intent.

super shadow itself was likely intended as the endgame of project shadow: absorbing the chaos emeralds to become so powerful that all life on earth would be doomed. just imagine if a super-formed hedgehog turned against humanity.
he might have also intended for shadow to also take out the black arms next...

Black Doom never said that he knew anything about you, Shadow. He appeared in front of you, demanded that you bring him the chaos emeralds, and then disappeared with enough explosions to make Michael Bay jealous. Furthermore, this how people can manipulate Shadow so easily. Hold a bit of knowledge over Shadow's head, and you can make him do anything you want.
Jennika Rosanne well not everyone could e.g Mephiles the Dark was a pro master manipulator but he couldn’t manipulate him to his side.

Oh, leave it alone. The developers tried to be more cool towards younger audiences, hence the guns and the excess of the word “damn”.
This game is awesome ! It's fun making multiple different stories ! It's cool you can even re watch them in the library mode ! I'm one of the people who really enjoy this game I don't have an issue with it. I had it on gamecube and have a disc for it just no console but got it on ps3 awhile ago and really enjoying it !

I did enjoy the game but it’s a Hassle getting the true ending, it’s nice to see someone else have fun playing the game.

Actually canon story is about true ending (Maybe) but many people think that there is no canon ending in game, canon ending about neutral but without killing Eggman and Sonic destroyed Black Comet not Shadow, Shadow just collected all chaos emeralds.
He prefers more mature topics. It’s probably why he likes seinen more than shonen tbh (laughing emoji)

Maybe from being exposed to them in Sonic Heroes? Or maybe someone else might have an explanation for it.
In Stage 6 of Final Haunt if you activate the shield in Black Doom Comet you betrayed Sonic
In Stage 6 of Gun Fortress if you protect Chaos Emerald with Rouge you betrayed Black Doom.
Neutral-dark and dark endings were my favorites to be honest, i did prefer to just do neutral paths but in this Game the Evil Paths are much more interresting that the generic good ones
Reminds the Fun i Had doing a neutral ending in Infamous Second son, sure i got the Good ending but i did as well alot of bad karma stuff.

I actually thought this game was pretty fun. Sure I found some aspects of it frustrating but I thought that the low rating it got was pretty harsh.

How were you able to buy this game on a PSN Japanese account if you're also not from Japan ?
I simply created a Japanese PSN account to get it from that store. As for how, I can’t really say. And if you’re thinking of looking for it, I honestly can’t tell if it’s still in the PSN store or not. Either way, I don’t recommend it since it’s got a ton of frame rate issues.
@@NeoTechnoman I just bought the game on PS2 in a oldgens shop a week ago, I couldn't find it for Xbox which is kinda unfortunate. But even though the game still isn't that bad unless you play the stage "The Ark" then yeah it got a lot of framedrops in some parts... But the game is at least still playable, I don't hate the version as I also used to play it on PS2 as a kid.
Why does shadow have a dark story?
Well, I wouldn’t call it a particular story. It’s more like multiple paths. In this case, I’m doing mostly dark missions, which is why you see “Dark Story” in the title.
How to get that recording thing

I used the HD60 on PS3. You use the Game Capture software to record through it. But for PS3 you need an HDMI splitter to record from it.

ZAR0 Yes it still is, just bought it today. I must warn you though that Sony will be permanently shutting down the PS3 store in July, so if you want this game, make sure to buy it ASAP.

You create a Japanese PSN account and check the Japanese PSN store for this game under PS2 Classics. Though I’m not sure if anything’s changed since I last checked the PSN store.
NeoTechnoman I looked through Hong Kong’s store and yeah it’s still there.
$70.00 HKD (Hong Kong Dollars) which is about $9.00 in US currency
I see. That’s good to know. But honestly if you’re able to it’d probably be better to play the GC version since the frame rate is kinda terrible for this version. Same with Sonic Heroes.
Honestly I believe that the game had potential, but ruined it with stupid design choices and story that sometimes doesn't make sense.

I think this is on PlayStation 2, but you’re playing this on PlayStation 3. I know you can play PlayStation games on the Ps3.
Exactly. But the later models I think you can’t play PS2 games via disk. Only digitally if there’s a PS2 classic in the PSN store. In this case, I got this game from the Japanese PSN store.
I hate this path, all the dark paths honestly make no fucking sense.
Honestly the last story is probably the only one that does.
@@NeoTechnoman The path that makes the closest sense to the last story is the true hero path, Shadow is on the black comet with all the emeralds.
Black Doom didn't DIE in the True Hero path, he could easily recover from that.
It would make no sense if it takes place after any of the neutral or dark paths, because in the dark paths, Shadow either A. Becomes a complete dick, doesn't care about being good and just wants to beat Sonic, B. Being a slave to Black Doom, C. Conquering the universe himself, or D. Destroying the planet.
And in the Neutral paths, Shadow KILLS Eggman, except in the neutral Ark path where Shadow decides to protect the Ark. That path is also rather close to the Last Story, but the True Hero path makes the absolute MOST sense of them all, at least. Yes, it doesn't make complete sense, but it makes the most sense.

Welp, I want to do other franchises on my channel, but unfortunately Sonic videos get more views than anything. If I do a Lego or Mario playthrough, no one will watch it. 😕
