Thanks. Cheap and easy. They have worked great so far! The 3m hooks are an alternative to sticky Velcro and are easy on easy off. Best of luck with your car curtains!!
Awesome setup. I plan on doing a lot of traveling for fishing next year and sleeping in the car is going to make a lot of it happen financially. This will help a ton.
Here I am creating window covers from that shiny bubble wrap insulation and within a few weeks, it became so flimsy that I have to use a credit card to try and get it into the window and hope they don't fall down in the middle of my sleep. This is simple and easy. Thank you.
Very cool! Scion TC is great but uniquely shaped. (Love my car!) Do people or security ever bother you *because* they cannot see you? That always worried me, almost more than the idea of looky-loos 😕
Really nice set up in my truck it’s easier for me because my windows are smaller and less area is window so I have less to cover also my windows are tinted and I have a camper shell that blocks a lot of the window in the rear
Hi there, I really enjoyed watching your video. Lots of great tips! One question: can you please post a list of the items you used to make the curtain and the store bought items? I have a honda accord so i hope the curtain can stretch all the way back to cover the rear windows. I'm going on a super long road trip so this is so helpful. Thank you so much in advance !! :)
Hey thanks for watching and hope your trip is amazing! Here are the items to make car curtains: 1 Blackout Curtain from Walmart cut to shape of windows, 1/8 inch Shockcord cut to length of windows and 2 Of those 3m sticky clips with hooks to tie back the bottom of curtains using a sewn on shockcord loop attaching via loop and hook. If you want to make one big curtain from front to back stronger shockcord may be necessary so there is no sag from the bigger heavy curtain. Just a thought
@@TrailsNTrout of course and thank you :) hmm okay. i will definitely take a closer look into this and see what i can work out. i appreciate your response! May you be blessed with happiness and prosperity. :)
I will at some point but in legally I can only get 35% tint max which would still allow people to see inside. Plus window tint doesn’t make it as dark inside as blackout curtains does.
most practical advice on this topic I've come across. watched other videos but after this I'm confident in a plan! thank you

@Leroy Beckett Yea, been watching on InstaFlixxer for since november myself =)
I like the side curtain concept.
Works great! Changed the 3m hooks to black so they match the cars interior. Thanks
I dont know why i never thought of using clips...great idea. Thank you
Excellent! No reflectix! Genius😎
Came in handy when you slept at Walmart a couple weeks ago! I wouldn’t want any lookyloos either.
It did! Helped to block out the parking lot lights too. Thanks

Thanks. I’m doing the same thing. More of the entire camper build I will be putting in a video soon. Been working on it for a month or so.
That is so great!!!
Thanks they have been working out wonderfully
You should try to make theses to sell. Or show us how to make them in a video
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!
Lol. I use poster boards as well.
Thanks for this demo, eh. It was really easy to follow along.
Poster board works great and is cheap! Thanks for the kind words
Could you actually just use poster board for the side windows?
Great video, straight to the point with no gimmicks!
Thanks. Just throwing ideas out there!

Job well done bro!! Now that's an innovation..
Thanks. Guess I’ve made my mark on the vehicle camping ideas
Those come in handy. I need to make some for my vehicle.
I’ve been turning my car into a camper for a month now and it’s turning out great! Looking forward to traveling/sleeping in it this coming year
Nice men ! Good ideas

Dude, great setup!
Thanks. We all need a little privacy!
I love the shade from Target
I do too, works great and takes up very little space. Thanks for watching

Thanks. I will probably get my windows tinted eventually. Smaller windows make things much easier
thank you! finally a practical solution
Glad to share! Hope your camper curtains turn out great!!
Poster board! 😀
Cheap and but doesn’t the longest lifespan. So just buy and cut another when needed. Thanks
Awesome 🙂👍 this will help me
Glad to help! Happy camping!!
Mine was free. Carboard did the trick
Sweet
Brilliant!!!!
Thanks. 3m hooks keep curtains back to maximize space. I just found some black ones to match my cars interior. Fashion and function!

great video. thank you
Appreciate it
The posterboard won’t work on the big side windows? Why not
It doesn’t hold firm like the smaller pieces do
Merry Christmas🌲🎅🌲
Thanks Mike you too
Thanks grandpa.
😂 sharing my seasoned wisdom
Why not use another front window shade on the back and hook it in?
The front window and back are different shapes and the front shade is made to size
@@TrailsNTrout I think I can find one that will fit the back it doesn’t matter if it’s a little big
Why don’t you just get tints ?
