Not in my wildest dream, would I have ever imagined U would give such accolades to a Begode competitor. This is groundbreaking. From your review, and others it can’t be reiterated enough of the level of expertise needed to optimally control such a machine. Thanks
I really appreciate it man.
I was very proud of him for this too. I knew the wheel was amazing so I was interested to see how he would do his review.
@@ivanmorales3265 I hope I did OK. More videos to come as I learn more about it
I love the long reviews...you are the best
Thanks a ton man
It was evident a lot of time and thought went into this review. No over hype for the good or bad, u just told us what u found and I like that. It was long but info packed all the way thru. Very well done, one of the best I’ve seen. Thanks U-Stride, u nailed this one!
Thanks a ton man. Shorter videos coming up
damn this is a long video! i also didn't know you got the suspension breaking on video! that scared the crap out of me in the intro lol
i appreciate the thoroughness and honesty of this review .. no over hyping ... this review didn’t give the " hype train buy it vibe" ... just and honest ride and thoughts from a rider with vast knowledge and experience riding EUC's ... in my humble opinion ive never seen such an advanced wheel ... the only deal breaker for me is price to distance ratio ...
Best V13 Review ever! Thank you
Wow U-Stride! With all respect to all content creators, this is the most thorough and balanced review of this machine out there!
Thanks a ton man. I was debating weather to upload the whole thing or not but I had some good counsel from Sensei Veagan. He said don't worry just release it. Great decision 👏 thanks man. I'll make shorter videos about it soon
@@UStride it was very entertaining throughout!
Fantastic review man. You show what this wheel is capable off with a good rider. Several time we can see the police ,i always think 'oh oh here comes the troubles' but finally not; The way you ride , fast , here in France it will be immediate issue with the police. Keep making high quality review like this, love your enthusiasm, cheers from France.
Wow!! This was my favorite review of any wheel to date. Excellent video!! 🔥🔥
Thanks a ton Sensei
Tied Hsiang for BEST review. Balanced review= TOP. Sick of the over-hyped ads for a new wheel and also the ones ripping on a wheel clearly due to their preferences/ lack of understanding physics or desire to have a review that doesn't appear to be an ad. Big wheel = less torque, make that your whole review=FAIL. You were as balanced as could be. Thanks boss!
Thank you indeed Ustride for what I found the absolute best and most complete review of this machine up to now. The intro also scared the hell out of me and I sincerely think you were very lucky this time. Want to order this V13 but certainly not before the shock issue has been solved. Thanks and "BE CAREFUL "😂😊 Greetings from Belgium.
Have to love your enthusiasm and joy in riding this wheel:-) Be safe.
Really nice job on this review. I thought it was really thorough. It just made me nervous for you watching it at 1.5X. A little PTSD, I think. I love that you didn't edit out any of the suspension breaking and aftermath. I am glad I slowed it down long before that.
I echo everything in your video... thank you....great content. I am enjoying my V 13 and building those muscles up for the beautiful riding it gives.
Really thorough review! Thanks for putting in the time for it! Don't sleep on soft mode. Its a really enjoyable way to ride. I have a v12 and soften it up quite a bit. I was kind of surprised how well it rode considering so many people recommend harder modes. Hope you review some more models in the future!
For me it depends on the size of wheel. I had the same experience with the monster. Great point though
Can’t wait for it to filter downwards, it’s an awesome wheel, but more than I want. I like a light wheel I can live with, and I don’t need to go super fast. I just want to be able to always go 25-30, push to 40 if I need to, and be confident it’ll hold up and what I like is this push to redundancy where one failure won’t have me faceplanting with no warning. Good suspension helps to safely go those speeds, so I support it. I’d like a v12 type wheel with these features.
Nice review. I suspect that the shock failure was caused by either 1) it being cross-threaded at the factory, or 2) some trying to remove the shock before releasing the air pressure from the shock. This appears to have been compromised BEFORE BlackCobra disassembled/reassembled the shock, so it is highly unlikely to have been him. Either way, this is a design flaw; there are about 5 major design flaws in the shock mount design alone... and there are about a dozen fixes that i can think of (so, it's an easy fix if Inmotion decides to upgrade it).
I'm looking forward to testing the shockless configuration while you wait for parts, even though this is repairable if you choose. I'd also suggest testing braking assist at incremental steps of 10-20% with the pedals at ZERO degree tilt-back; the 3 degree tilt-back may be interfering with the braking assist where the function is limited if initial pedal tilt-back exceeds 1-2%. {I don't know how it works so a better explanation is needed.}
It'll sound a bit nuts but I think wheels capable of 55mph+ need a mechanical assist for braking, power steering and anti-wobble, which could all be designed in one gyroscopic device (about the size of the EXN suspension unit). But, this will take several years of development. Imagine a gyro stabilized wheel feeling weightless in the turns and enabling enhanced power-sliding and traction control...
Motorcycles are to EUCs like handjobs are to a Tantric Sex Queen. The ride is incomparable. 🤣
Great points man. I'll consider
@@UStride When you talk to Jason, see if he can send the full assembly, both sides... The slider housing is stripped too. Cobra mentioned that they couldn't remove one of the slider housing mounting bolts and I suspect that it's over-torqued and could sheer off the head during removal... this would be bad. Get a local mechanic to use an induction heater to preheat the bolt and release the locktite, otherwise a bolt extraction will make the job miserable. Unfortunately, this could prevent you from setting up the wheel to ride without suspension as well. The top of the shock insert seems to be damaged as well.
If you're a gambling man, simply putting a product like JBWeld on the threads and pounding it into place should be sufficient as a temporary "fix". {Red Locktite could also be used but I wouldn't jump a curb like that.}
Better still would be to just get a mechanic to TIG weld the insert and the housing together (after removing the fragile schrader valve to protect it from heat damage). This will work until it goes back to distributor. Or, continue to ride "as is" with the one cylinder removed (best current option).
Good luck
@@grb1969 great points. Thanks for that
Best review of v13 !
Thanks a ton
Amazing wheel
Amazing, amazing, thorough review. You make me want to buy a V13, I am a begode man with five begode wheels ex30,Commander HS,Master 40t, rs19htand an Mten4. I hope ewheels send you an Ex30, next level wheel from begode, I think I will have to book a test ride of the V13.
Yeah book a ride atleast. It's solid
Dude thank you so much for the time you took to make this thorough review. I cant tell you how helpful this was to me. Subbed!
Glad it helped and thanks
Really positive review even with the suspension malfunction. Not sure if it's related, but one of Black Cobra's videos showed that it had issue with suspension thread. Apparently, someone else (whoever had the wheel before him) cross threaded the suspension and destroyed the thread. They were saying that they would have to order a new suspension.
Yeah there was basically no thread

Nice seeing you handling the wheel well, but the weight is real
I wish you had gotten one that was %100 working and didnt have a wonky suspension but still you made an amazing video. Nobody captures that THRILL feeling like this except U-Stride and Chooch. You guys will ride these wheels till the literal wheels fall off if given the time and resources lol, love it. What was the top speed you got it up to? I heard whispers of Inmotion releasing like a sportmode or something for the V13 too. Thats gonna be interesting to see how much of the leash theyre gonna give us. Keep up the videos man 🤙🤙🤙
Little secrete. I learned from Tishawn and chooch when I first got into this.
Its 5k in US? Wow, its going for 3850 dollars\300.000 rubles in Russia. One of your biggest videos 👍
Can you buy one for me please.....🥰
@@kaygee1623 lol once he ships it it'll be the same lol
Yea , any product of china gets 25% tariff tax, even though there is no local euc manufacturer to compete.
Top notch high quality review. Love the footage. Really great
Thanks Jediah
But it’s only 4k?
"Why don't you just get a motorcycle?" for cruising long distances sure but I know a lot of motorcycle guys and they don't really ride for practicality, they don't ride every day like EUC people do motorcyclists usually ride only for fun and as soon as the weather gets worse they stop riding, the reason being motorcycles are kinda of a pain in the ass sometimes.
And that's how we properly rinse that !! :)
8 debated before getting it. As soon as it came and I rode it for a day or two I realized how silly I was. I'd easily pay 8k for it in hindsight
excellent testing
Thanks for all the information.................👏
If wheel makes man smile than wheel is good
Next, I want to see high-end wheels designed with easily replaceable, modular components.
That would be a wheel from begode. Link here

@@UStride What do you recommend? I've been riding an MSX and a Nicola+ for the last 3 years. I love them, but I want more power.
5000 dollars for a suspension which break at the first miles ...
Euc companies are really making fun of us with all these issues (there has never been so much cut out and issues than these last years in euc history), and the worst is that we still buy them.
Many truths stated
This is fixable. I just hope that the fix is better than what Kingsong did with the S-22 sliders.
@@UStride by the way , forgot to say that its a really nice review, complete and interesting , well done :p
Great review, not a wheel for me , i prefer my Master
damn, American cities are wild, downtown looks the same as the highway
Where do you live?
I think suspension was last minute taught from Inmotion
“As you can see this is a challenge”
Well they did name the wheel The Challenger. Not sure this is what they had in mind.
i would give 4k for the patton
Title says it all 👍
Great video Ustride but I taught the price was 4k USD
I saw on ewheels 3999 with a $1000 deposit.
Edit: just checked, the $4k is the early bird special
@@UStride the wheel is $4000. The “early bird special” has been the price for over 6 months now
@WheelyDope batch 1 price. If you want to explore all the V13 problems, you can save 500 dollar/euro.
@@UStride 👍 but the video ride is 🔥
On eWheels site, it says "Early-bird preorder price $3,999, $2,999 balance on arrival" after the $1000 deposit
Another hit video
I am surprised that you were surprised that agility was better in soft mode 😀
Hard mode is easier to learn to ride EUC on, but when you know how to ride, switch to soft for a much better feeling overall.
Absolutely
It really depends from one wheel to the next. My RS soft mode was great but can’t get use to it on my Master as much as I wanted to, it’s just too much peddle dip for me, especially over bumps.
La prochaine roue V13. For sure
Nope! All that weight- for what?
For that small power band?
All that battery safety- the only thing needed was the best batteries made. Since all euc have switched to Samsung, the fires have been eliminated.
They could've kept the heavy potted batteries, and gave us more of the top quality batteries. I guess v14 will fix that!
Man that looks like Newark NJ< u in Jersey? I am down on the Jersey shore. I hope u try the EX-30 ... its awesome imo and I havent tried the patton but I ride the s22 and my ex-30 is landing from china first week of June... Nice vids
Congrats man. And I'm in Boston. Really love New Jersey by the way
@@UStride Nice I have a Sister that lives up in Mass 25 mins outside of Boston. I have done alot of riding up there as well. Have you had any problems with the cops up there in Boston while riding as I see you ride alot on the Road and not on the shoulder... I wish we had dedicated bike lanes like So. California does as you can ride from LA to San Diego without having to ride on the highway. In Jersey we do have some areas with bike roads bu Nothing like out west in Cali. I see the same up in Boston where some towns have wider shoulders for bikes, similiar to here in Jersey. Now with the power of these newer wheel like the v-13 ex30 and others you can ride them safely on the road at speed but that brings another issue up that I hope stays away as long as possible before some bogus laws start to happen (like needing to register them or insure then etc). Anyway keep up the great content and perspective. God Bless
@@revolutionaries007 I don't think about it. I just ride and be respectful
Always love your videos, this one being no different, but wish you had been more critical on this wheel - being that it both crapped out on you mid-ride, and seemed extremely sluggish to stop.
Seems to me Inmotion has built the safest fastest, unsafe wheel on the market. All the redundancies and speed thresholds don't mean much if you can't stop when you need/have to due to weight.
Another video is coming. It will be more critical but this time with my red jacket
Carving seems like so much work for a little bit of side wheel action
What's up with all new big , motor , rim light everything but put in 4 them shity old shocks? Few turns or stripped then shock goes down by you tire. Lol golden. Why think zbout everything but then put old shock on it so weird. Why do you need to? Because others have it I guess. Lol could put few more battery's for that space and weight.
The Sifu of Yook tamed the beast!
cutout because of the wind? I guess it's possible but more then anything strong wind is not letting me turn and be comfortable at speed anyway
I wish I bought the 13 instead. The 14 is awesome but I feel I needed the fast speed. Lol
30:51 bro, this is how I look to people? This is wild, looks like the flesh just flies by lol
Yesnreally nive
Race v13 = range problem.
Is that the wheel that Black Cobra had. Didn't he strip out one of the shock tubes during disassembly? I believe he tapped the shock tube, but it may have been weakened.
Yes that's the one
U didn't broke wen u jump it jus fell out or drop
Im rideing an Abrams currently. As a 280lbs dude. I regularly do 40 miles no problem. Im thinking about upgrading to the V13.. But not sure it would get the rabge im hoping for. The V13 has a large battery than the Abrams. But with the power the v13 has, will that affect the range?
I like the wheel so far. However it would be nice if they had more replacement parts.
More modularity.
A battery pack upgrade of 5000 wh or more.
Instead of needing to upgrade to a new wheel.
Maybe it could be a stop gap.
Like release called the V13+ : or Challenger XL.
I'm a heavy 250lb rider.
Weight doesn't bother me as much as it did before.
Its been a good commuter wheel so far.
However cosmetically its starting to get worn out.
Because I dropped it a couple learning standing riding and seated.
What type off glasses do you where to ride ?
Basic shades from Walgreens lol
@@UStride gotcha ok lol
33:21 What is that? Is that overtorque? Or is it breaking assist?
No that's just me pulling it back with the handle. Poweful motor man.
Go George had this wheel before Cobra. THIS SAME REAR RIGHT SHOCK gave them issues! Cobra said it didn't have any pressure.... the rod was freely spinning from the top, and came out... he put 300 lbs of pressure in it. That's the same rod that failed.
ua-cam.com/video/CU2W2PtipmA/v-deo.html
Nice thanks. I will do an update. Ewheels is sending an entire assembly
Battery tech is subjective??
👍❤
Wen undid that jump it came out lose
Yup but it was already compromised
they are 4000$ i think
Oops I thought it was the early bird special that was $4k
Good review but blow your nose 👃 next time 😂
True. Will do
It’s not even a debate. It’s more than worth the 5k. Get your money up or else stay out of the EUC race. It’s just that simple
No it's not. It is debatable.
Lol hilarious 🤣 2SLICE
You won't be winning any races with that boat anchor, maybe you're a 15 mph kind of guy😢
@@busybody1474 sounds like a good challenge
Meh
Lol
I'm saving for one!😊
Loose screws mate do your servicing and lock tight it dude!
So why all the grunting? And there is always a headwind! But you hate wind sideways! Obviously you have too prapare for it oh man
Thumbs down on that wheel.. way overpriced and horrible suspension, not to mention heavy
No with a loose shock holder damn you repeat yourself it hurts my ears!😮
