Steve Stevens IS AMAZING. A hidden talent in Billys Band. Micheal jackson hired him for a spell..and others,too. He is incredibly skillful. His "Flamenco A Go-Go: is a great instrumental album.
I Saw them live at the Showplace in Dover, NJ. They Did the 8PM show. They did not realize they had to do a second set at 10PM. They came back and played the same exact show. Up until Steve went into his "Caramba" routine. Best show ever 75 people in the club.2nd best -Burton Cummings (Before Guess Who) at the Bottom Line. Or Georgre Thorogood at the Village Vanguard. Great Times! By Uncle Bob 73 Years old and still smoking'!.
I love the Latin jazz/flamenco influence that Steve has. You don't see many guys that bring that kind of stuff in. Srv has a jazz side to him that I love too. Steve's awesome, awesome, awesome!

Steve Stevens is a great guitarist. He’s playing a Godin guitar, complete with the circuitry for connecting to the Roland GR-55 Guitar Synth. I’ve played the GR-55 since 2011. Just an amazing piece of gear. I play a Godin Freeway as my "interface". The guitar is similar to an Ibanez. It’s one of my top 5 guitars to play just as a guitar. Great tremolo system, maple neck, the only guitar I’ve ever used for the Guitar Synth. Ya gotta love being able to play so many other instruments by using an instrument you’re already adept at playing. I’ve had songs where I was the rhythm section, playing keys (organ and piano) and the entire horn section, including lead parts usually playing alto or tenor sax. Talk about dying and gone to Heaven.
I saw BI at the showbox/paramount, I can’t remember which in 99’ He was incredible, sounded as good live as on record. Great show! Still one of my all time favs.
